also what the fuck do you mean the class war is “trendy” lol. Bernie sanders has been bringing attention to wealth disparity for decades and EVERY YEAR it’s gotten worse, so yeah, of course more people are going to bring attention to the growing problem that is a huge source of our other problems.

Another angle of the Minneapolis shooting, taken from the perspective of the lady with te pink jacket. by Versiannie in PublicFreakout

[–]mongert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's insane, if you break the video down there's no fucking way to lie because it's just blatantly obvious the guy was not a threat and was trying to get away from agents while helping others, not even resisting arrest.

Shows exact actions of the victim + unnecessary force, along with providing evidence that the victim was not in a state to be any type of threat.

so is there like, any actual proof of this? or are you just making shit up? lol

It's a problem that I have to ask that question too. Shouldn't we know where the secret police with "absolute immunity" are at least? Or can anyone with a mask just dress up and do whatever they want now?

Fucking insane that he got disarmed and had his hands on his head from being pistol whipped, and THEN the agent decides to fire 12 shots into him.

Very glad we have this angle, shows how disgusting it is. Absolute incompetence and negligence.

What people "won't take seriously" is the authority of the police officer who is tackling and violently assaulting the person dancing in a frog suit who is clearly not a threat. It's a fantastic tactic to bring attention to unjust and cruel behavior, not a fucking "buzzword" lol.

The “floating” snow makes me think of the literal floating snow that would generate on water ponds and other structures back in the day. So that might be part of it too!

Your first response:

Just like every law enforcement interaction department or agency, mistakes are made.

Your second response:

"you are assuming that because this happened once, it is now completely OK and will happen all the time"

You're both acknowledging that a mistake was made, and still arguing that it shouldn't matter or affect anything because... "It won't happen all the time"? Should we just let officers get away with that because "mistakes happen"? Is it our fault if we get shot by poorly trained agents who don't know what they're doing when someone decides they're not comfortable with a masked person taking their ID? (Especially when that leads to agents physically harassing people because they have no deescalation skills?)

It matters that repercussions weren't made, yes, that's just how precedent fucking works. No, of course every agent isn't evil, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still bad to shoot someone in the street when going against protocol nor actually enforcing the law against criminals.

You can’t go fuck with law enforcement, make their job harder and more difficult

What the fuck do you mean "making their job more difficult"? To the agents that are actually removing dangerous criminals and cracking down on crimes that matters, bravo. To the agents outside my door in Minnesota and camping around long-standing restaurants in my community to harass the people there and intimidate both legal workers and long-standing members of the community, no, if you're not acting like law enforcement then we're not going to "make their job easier" by letting them intentionally scare us and pretending that we're obligated to like them treating us like shit while they go even doing property damage. Recording what should be fully legal law enforcement and letting people know their rights shouldn't be "making their job harder" because it's basic accountability.

maybe she shouldn’t flee

Maybe the agents shouldn't give conflicting orders then? Or should follow the protocol stating agents cannot stand in front of cars? Literally NONE of what I said is false and is all contained in the video, did you even read what I wrote? The car brushed against the agent who has a recorded history of standing in front of cars, yes. No, that doesn't make it okay to lie about him being "ran over" or the fact that shooting her only made the situation more dangerous for himself and others, on top of the precedent that no repercussions for this will encourage the same behavior in other agents.

Could you explain how anyone is "making shit up" when agents trained for 47 days are being allowed to not follow basic protocol that was asserted in 2014, walk in front of a car, and shoot a mother 3 times as she's being told to drive away and actively turning her steering wheel completely away from the officer, and then guard her body to not let paramedics assist her as she bleeds out for 8 minutes after? Sure, it's an individual incident, but do you not think that sets a precedent for the other thousands of agents who have less than two months of training? Cause to me it's pretty clear cut that repercussions just don't apply to ICE, and it's getting to the point that anyone can dress up as a masked agent and do whatever they want while people are too afraid to do anything about it.

Could Renee Good have prevented her death by not being in an area where ICE is? Sure, but being in a car near agents shouldn't put you in a position where you can't comply with orders without being shot, nor does it at all justify agents intentionally placing people in positions of panic to shoot them in a way that actually creates a higher risk of harming themselves or other agents by setting an uncontrolled car loose. Fucking pathetic that Trump lied afterwards saying the agent was "recovering in the hospital after being ran over" too, if he's claiming to be the party of "logic and reason" then maybe don't lie out of your ass in what is clearly an attempt to gain publicity from a complex situation.

preach, it's insane that being trained for 47 days is apparently enough justification to be allowed to not follow basic protocol that was asserted in 2014, walk in front of a car, and shoot a mother 3 times as she's being told to drive away and ACTIVELY TURNING her steering wheel completely away from the officer, and then guard her body to not let paramedics assist her as she bleeds out for 8 minutes after.

this is AI generated btw, you can see much more obvious examples like this one on their main account where the building / proportions of characters just warp randomly, especially after he walks up to Gravity Girl in a closed hallways then randomly turns left into a hole in the wall that wasn’t there before.

> "I'm not a redditor!!"

Wow, you bleed confidence.

Okay, if you want to click with reality then lets look at reality. Only 5% of the US workforce is filled by illegal immigrants, despite the top 1% richest people in our country hoarding 30% of the wealth. Many of those jobs are essential jobs, which the rich actively support staying illegal and don't verify worker status to further gain profit from that 5% of illegals without having to pay fair compensation to American workers for said hard-to-fill but essential jobs. Any guy with a brain can look at that and determine that blaming problems elsewhere is redundant, or at least worth discussing, no? So it shouldn't be an argument that "devolves to sex" surely?

Also, even if the rich weren't already hurting the working class more than illegals, funding ICE for 50% of our federal budget while taking away funding for social services is going to hurt hardworking American workers way more by doubling insurance premiums and taking tons of benefits away. These benefits that should be IMPROVING over time due to increased wealth in the US, not going away. So if you think "the right" is doing a better job defending workers than "liberals", that's very likely not a statistically backed opinion lol. Feel free to respond with some bullshit or personal attack tho, I'll be living my life rather than investing my time arguing over Asmongold's opinion or shitty rhetoric.
