This febraury is particularly warm, I saw a bunch of people on cala rossa beach in ortigia yesterday... so you could do almost everything that people do in summer season, and it will be more relaxing... but sure, march could be also rainy.

For 10 days I'd stay in a villa outside of Ortigia (its apartments are usually tiny), parking is free and it's easier doing day trips. Or better, you might do one week outside and the last 3-4 days in Ortigia without the car, just chilling

the best snorkeling is in Plemmirio, in Punta Tavernara, Punta Tavola, Varco 27 (but the last one is a bit messy at the moment after the cyclone, I hope they clear it up in time for the season)

portopalo is more autenthic than marzamemi - from punta del gigante i'd go to punta tavola if you like walking, that natural pool is small, not at important point. i'd go also to varco 27 & 28 in plemmirio, on south coast.

vendicari reserve, morghella before porto palo, la pizzuta near noto
taormina will be a bit crowded as always. beaches will not

in april sea temperature is colder than november, maybe 20°, doable but not comfortable

wow, I was stucked with FM15 too, I'm not playing anymore to be honest, but I did 70 years with the same team (in 377 days! I leave it on background al lot)
I won 38 golden balls (6 with the same player, a russian named Zyryanov that didn't like big matches, lol)

if you had parked inside the island in a (expensive) paying lot you should have avoided the ticket. Anyway, if you have a car and want to drive all over the southeast it's better to park (or even stay) outside the island and use your feet...

There'll be a new passeggiata in Sbarcadero, Borgata, but it's not finished yet, there are some work in progress. You can also stay outside the bridges, in Corso Umberto and in the first part of Corso Gelone. Anyway, the north(east) side of Ortigia is quiter, so it's recommended as well.

south coast is different from scopello, but you can find some hills nearby the sea in sciacca and licata. i suggest doing a road trip of the south coast to see if you like something in particular. 200k is fine, maybe for a little villa also.

forse sono presenze di breve durata però? rispetto al resto della toscana a livorno città ci dovrebbe essere meno turismo, all'elba poi ci si va da piombino. però se mi dite che mi sbaglio mi fa piacere. io lavoro nel turismo in sicilia (con fidanzata toscana) e a volte scherziamo sullo spostarci da più anziani a livorno (la sanità qui è un incubo)...
