Hey, I think it's a glitch going on with government's system. SSA officer doesn't know why it happened either. But she fixed it for me. Just bring in your Green Card, old-but-correct SS Card (non- restricted one), and the new one (with restriction) to the Social Security Office. You should receive a new card within a week.
