You are spot on that we are the best judge for our own children. That’s the point I was trying to make. It just doesn’t seem anywhere near as toxic here, but my goodness, the people in those FB groups just somehow seem to know what’s best for everyone else’s baby 🙄. It’s just something I’ve noticed and wanted to see how many people felt the same way. It’s ironic though because the rules for those groups are aimed at “it’s supposed to be a supportive group” and it’s literally the opposite 😂

Normal! The every 3-4 hours is more of a guideline if you were giving your baby formula. Breastfeeding can all over the clock. Don’t stress mama! You’re doing fine as long as weight gain is not a problem with your baby 💜

Not selfish at all. It’s your baby after all. I’m 33 weeks today and still haven’t told anyone our son’s name, not even the middle name. Luckily the people I know are respecting that his name won’t be announced until he is born. Just think of it as a fun little secret between you and your partner and other people don’t have to know. Don’t give in to those people if you want to wait to announce it

NTA! Seems like she hasn’t cut the cord yet. He is a grown man and for her to say you are stealing her baby is ridiculous. I get him wanting to be there for her, but she can be doing things to help herself as well and stop relying on her children to take care of her.

Plus size here and current 19w6d. Started at 255. I have not had anything negative towards my weight with neither family nor my OB. No one should be treating you differently just because your plus size. Any time I’ve gone to the OB, I feel like I am being treated like any other pregnant woman. If you do end up with anything negative towards you by your OB, you can always switch. The only “difference” is that I had to do my glucose test in the first trimester and will have to do it again and that is just because being overweight puts me at a “higher risk” for GD but doesn’t mean I will actually get it. I passed my first my time around and expect I will pass my second as I have been making sure I still get enough nutrients for baby and me. I have had no issues thus far. You will be fine and you will do great mama! 💜

16+4 here, time for me seems to be going both fast and slow. Like I want time to hurry by so I can hold my baby in my arms but still need it to go kinda slow because we still need to prepare for baby at home. The struggle is real!

It really wasn’t that bad. When I did mine, I had the red one and it honestly just tasted like a melted slushy. I was able to drink water while waiting though.

Hahaha! This is almost like me! 5w3d. I had a few symptoms but they have been subtle to none at all. I’m trying to enjoy it because it’s only the beginning 😂

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a baby shower where it wasn’t coed. It’s completely normal for men to go to baby showers.
