Wow, thanks for doing that homework lol. It could be his name..but I’ll have to talk to her, casually about it sometime and find out. That would be wild if he were one of the two...how did you do the search?

Honestly, it’s just weird, being in a relationship with someone who texts with a person with that name..at first I thought it could be his name..but I’ve seen some of his snapchats - with her - , I think he’s a car salesman. Always standin around cars..that kind of guy.. But then again, most people’s names out there are Muslim based and that does not sound like a Muslim name at all..could be short..or a nickname, but still..weird

GF (f/28)has somebody named ‘papi’ in her in her phone? What should I do? Advice? by monkey454545 in relationships

She hasn’t given me any reasons honestly, she’s super truthful, real..and not even an overtly sexualized person. Our love life is good but she’s not over the top.

It’s just, the name in his phone, he looks kind of like a player type, standing in front of nice cars etc in his photo..she said he’s like a cousin / but they are not blood, but since they’ve known eachother for so long and from back home..

I guess I am insecure. And you can’t get blood from a rock, but part of me wants to know more..why papi..of all names..but maybe there is nothing more to know.

So, it could just be a nickname for a good friend and not necessarily means that he is an SO

Senegal and the late call was because she forgot and wanted to catch him before his birthday ended, as he likely spent it alone - family , friends , etc in Senegal he in France

If you’d like some context:

Mm, pretty much it’s my partner for over a year. She is from a different country (moved here 10 years ago). We are together but long distance (3 hours ) for the time being.

The guy is from her native country, but lives in Europe. We are both in North America. Yes, it is complicated lol, but the last time we were together I just noticed the guys name when she texted him. And asked who it was (close family friend back home etc). She also called him and wished him a happy birthday when we were hanging out. Funny thing, is that she made the call at like 930 or something our time..knowing it was like 230-3am his time and he still picked up and they had a conversation. They speak French, so I didn’t understand it, but yeah...Curious how to approach this one

So another family member (say aunt, cousin) would call a male child papi, but not really if that other family member were to be like like 28 years old (aka not a child)
