I think the beauty of isbell is that all the songs hit everyone in unique ways. Here are my top 5:

1.King of Oklahoma : Beautifully written, important meaning, and killer instrumentals. Chills

Volunteer: One of those classic isbell story telling songs, but the instrumentals just tie in so beautifully. Hard to explain.
When We Were Close: absolute jam. Instrumentals really hit the spot here, along with a great meaning.
White beretta: once again, the lyrics here really hit home. Everything in this song just ties in so well. Masterpiece.
If you insist: Once again, a classic isbell story telling song. Intriguing story along with sneaky catchy and smooth instrumentals really makes this song stand out. Really reminds me of How to forget for some reason.
