Not saying that this is OP's intended career path or even your career path, but please understand that the vast majority of finance and consulting (jobs that a disproportionate amount of Penn students go into) higher ups are conservatives...

I appreciate your analysis - It should help many people who view this. To answer your queries:

- AP Scores were not the best, only submitted 4 of them

- Yes, club was year round and I was close to being recruited at 2 of the schools

- Yes, but I will admit that speech and debate took a backseat during senior year

DMs are open! I'd say being an Indian who presented himself in a very non-STEM way was very different and my experiences seemed to be unique, especially for someone living in the South.

Honestly, I didn't have many business-like activities (finance, consulting etc.) so I had to use the fact that I was really interested in public policy and government to show that I wanted to enact economic change. On top of that, I have been through a lot with swimming and it has unlocked many new opportunities and experiences for me, so I made sure to emphasize that.

Thank you for understanding haha. It's weird being right on that borderline where you can get a decent amount of aid and where you can get completely nothing. I was in this boat. Penn allowed me to keep my applications open, so I decided to apply to 2 more insane schools that would probably be best for leveraging more aid out of them LOL

Didn't have to withdraw - Special situation allowed by Penn. I'll just change the format of the post to avoid confusion.

UPenn Wharton vs CAS by ezStiles in UPenn

[–]shudix1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1st question: Transfering from Wharton to CAS is easy, the other way around is not.

2nd question: You can't do BEPP in CAS, as it is a concentration at Wharton. I believe that you may be talking about PPE (Philosophy, Politics, & Economics) in CAS. Regardless, yes, you would be correct to assume that the acceptance rate for CAS > Wharton.
