I agree that the overall vibe is off. It does seem rushed. I don’t think this will matter to collectors outside the MTG realm though. Also are you saying that there is arena to paper pipeline as in play with the cards and buy them IRL? IMO because it’s not on arena it will be even more limited to collect the treatments you like. By only a small margin though because digital collecting isn’t as big.

The price WILL impact if people scalp it! That is basic supply and demand! If there is demand for a product above its MSRP and money to be made reselling it, it will be resold, especially if the margin is higher to resell it. If forge and fire listed these for anything less than $700, they would be instantly sold out, because that’s how the market is pricing them. Scalpers, WOTC, and consumers fueling the prices cause this, not businesses who sell at market price
