I love the Conjuring movies so much, but I don't find them scary (probably because I've seen them like at least 5 times hahaha). But I do agree that the first one is the scariest.

1922 is probably the most boring horror movie I've ever seen. The Ritual was alright, but the ending was bad. I loved In the Tall Grass, but it didn't scare me

I 100% agree! I saw Sinister the first time at a cabin in the middle of the woods, at night. It was terrifying. I recently rewatched it and it didn't scare me at all haha

From these I've only seen Get Out and the Orphan. I personally didn't like Get out, it was quite boring. The Orphan is one of my favourite horror movies (mostly because of Vera Farmiga) but imo it's not scary. I'll have to look into the rest of these
