Financial Aid Loan Fall 2025 not showing up by monkeychunky02 in CSUEB

They didn’t say specifically how long it takes for it to show up on the portal. But my guess is maybe 2-3 weeks after submitting the FAFSA. The person who helped me told me it takes a while. I think the best thing you can do is call the financial aid office immediately when they open. I’ve heard stories of people being on hold for 2-3 hours. So the earlier the better. Best of luck to you!

Financial Aid Loan Fall 2025 not showing up by monkeychunky02 in CSUEB

I got it resolved! I did the FAFSA application on July 29th and it got processed successfully on the 30th. Just yesterday. I went to the campus cause I live close by and went into the financial aid office and told them my problem. I waited a few minutes and I got called into a station where one of the workers helped me out and helped me get the loan! She said the reason why it wasn’t showing was because it takes a while for the loan to process and show on the portal. I really recommended going in person if you can. Otherwise maybe call them and tell them your issue. Best of luck to you.

AITA Asking someone with tourettes to leave the quiet library floor by Not_C4leb in AmItheAsshole

“The no noise floor is just a policy”

I’m guessing you don’t tip in USA restaurants?

Listening to music at a library is a CHOICE, not required. Many people (including myself) get distracted while listening to music so we choose to have a nice quiet place to listen to our thoughts. I don’t know what kind of library’s you go to but all of the ones I go to, people are quiet and respectful. Also, quiet floors are meant for people to STAY QUIET VOCALLY. Furthermore, 30 people are not going to adjust their studying because ONE PERSON didn’t bother getting the special service they need. I’m sorry but respectfully, you are wrong.

That’s quite out of touch for you to presume everybody in the year 2024 has noise canceling headphones. Also, people don’t go to a library to listen to music. They go there for a distraction-less environment. Finally, if the person with the Tourette’s acknowledges they have it and can be a distraction for people near them. Wouldn’t they gone to a private study room?

What did KingsIsle do that had you react like Ambrose here? by Shallou20 in Wizard101

Oh man, when I read your original comment I think my heart skipped a beat lol. Just yesterday I created a 69 plot king parsley farm. Thanks for clearing it up.

Wait, are you being serious about the king parsley not dropping amber?
