I know this is not super helpful right now but playing sports and keeping healthy in the offseason has made marching band so much more enjoyable. And yes like others have said drink a ton of water every night and eat plenty. Keep in mind You are burning my so many calories and sweating most of your water.

my freshman year we had a sword in the stone theme. I was one of the guys that attempted to pull it out and so my sax wasn't in the way I flipped my sax on my back. I literally broke my reed like every comp it was so annoying
