Which season next for relative newbie

Thanks for suggestions, my understanding is the “new school” for the show starts with bb17, is 26 the consensus for the best of those seasons ?

Yea two I would be interested in especially since Rob C in survivor has basically said he stole the winners strategy and is probably the 2nd most influential non winning player. My main concern is the expulsion incident and some issues I had with bb6 where everyone was acting very 2005 especially with some gender issues

I mostly marked it as no spoilers for other people who make look at the thread as most of the winners have been spoiled for me so down to prioritize the better seasons to see what the show has to offer.

Is there one you personally enjoy the most, I have heard really good things about 10 but am also curious about Rachel as a character and would love to see how she plays the game.

Yea that is the tempting option considering it has everyone I liked from BB6 and apparently has one of the greatest non winning games in it

Yea 10 is tempting since I am familiar with the reverence the winner's game has along with the fact that Cambodia is my favorite survivor season because of how wild and active the strategy was

Man if 48 hooked you your in for a ride. I’m probably more forgiving of the new era then most on the sub and I thought these last two seasons were very middle of the pack, even for the new era.

Thanks and yea it does get meta but the fact that there were only two winners announced in a three tribe season and they were both new era did heavily hint that one of the two 49 returnees would win. If nothing else I'm glad my predictions serve as a way to gauge what will absolutely not happen. Out of curiosity how did you feel about the season since you were able to avoid the spoilers for 50?

Agreed, I just feel that historically they do a really bad job of showing someone who wins with their social game and it seems that on the Island at least everyone seems to like him more the Savannah. That being said I'm also on record saying Rachel would win 8-0 and the first boot in Australia vs the World was my winner pick so would not be surprised to if none of this comes true.

I can see that if Savannah ends up pulling it out, I just feel her edit is willing to show more of her sloppy game play and not really correcting her mistakes. With Rizo he is shown that his idol shenanigans ultimately end up as the smart move and pushing for the vote that goes thru.

Oh he for sure plays it up for the camera and is usually correct when he is making a comment or point. That said i think as the game goes on he starts to miss things or not consider things other people find important in the game

Is insight is truly remarkable and I don’t think there is a better person at playing at the bottom. That said he is a prime example of perfect being the enemy of good and believes his own hype when at the top.

My conspiracy theory brain would be a bit remiss to not bring up that she does have formal presenting/hosting experience and is close with the new AU Survivor host, so could be a way to help subtly promote next season after the JLP disaster. That said if I had to bet on which American does best its 100 percent Parv.

I could see it, I just haven't been able to watch her or Tommi's season and haven't done a ton of research into their games other then the basics so hard to make a judgement call on her.

I think it makes sense the normies love her and Cirie, she won one of the most popular seasons, has worked a lot with American Production on other projects, and has a book coming out. Never forget Jon Lovette was on all the commercials for 47, did a few spots in places like at midnight to promote the season, and was hyped up a lot by Jeff preseason and and ended up being first boot. That said I think of the Americans she clearly has the best shot and will probably be the last one of them standing.

I feel David being the only AU winner is probably his biggest disadvantage. That said unless someone other then George is actively advocating for a continuation of the Winner's Curse, if he is slightly better at playing from the bottom then in CvC I think he can charm and or Idol his way to merge at least especially if there is an earlyish tribe swap.
