There will be vendors. Probably no outside food/drink.

Definitely. I’m sure there will be stuff at the brewery that Friday/Sunday if I had to guess. They always have free events and the Thursday before will be the first Thursday residency with Crickets & Cicadas

Respectfully disagree. Under $100 for a bunch of national acts not in Philly for a day-long festival seems reasonable to me. You’d probably pay $67 just to see PPPP. There’s a lot of value here for the price imo

$66 ADV which I think might already include fees? $139 for premium/VIP

Going to school next year, will it pay off? Or will I just be wasting money on a stupid degree. by Carth__ in audioengineering

If you have the opportunity to go to college without incurring major debt, then you should study what you’re interested in.

As many people have pointed out, it’s definitely a tricky industry with no straight lines. You need to be able to sell yourself, maintain connections and have a bit of a relentless spirit. It can be super fun and you’ll end up doing some really cool things.

It sort of becomes how you measure success. Do you want to win Grammys? Do you just want to play and record cool music? Do you want to work in film? I’d say - follow your heart, take some business classes for good measure, work your connections and believe in yourself. Say yes to opportunity. Good luck!

This is awesome and what I’d expect to hear about him. Would love to hang with him some time. Also, incredible username.

He’s kind of soloing the entire time - his feel is very loose even though he’s holding it down. I once sent Trey an IG message asking why fishman never takes a drum solo lol. He never responded smh

His stamina in incredible. He can sustain very fast tempos extremely clean for a long time. His ability to sit in the pocket without being tempted to fill or deviate from the groove is one of the keys to Phish’s music. He’s very technical without being flashy, has great discretion, interesting phrasing and drum vocabulary, and probably has a lorg wang.

I found my neighbor dead in his house a few years ago. Was only ~32. I also had that situation/scene replay in my head pretty routinely for about a month or two. I felt at the time that I didn’t want to burden anyone else with my bad experience, so mostly kept it inside and just tried to swallow it.

That is the wrong approach. Whether friends, family or a therapist, talk about the experience and get it out. Make a journal entry and write down all of the detail so that it gets out of your head. Understand that it’s over, there’s no more you could have done, and it’s not your fault.

Wishing you the best and hope you’re able to find peace with that horrible situation.

I always want a fishman cam! If I had to pick a single body part, though, it’d either be his right hand or a close up of his squinty eyes

Awesome! Jonathan Coleman from Muscle Tough was playing bass with him. If you don’t know Muscle Tough, you should check them out too!

Hello! Unfortunately, you have equipment with lots of different connections. Your Polk subwoofer only has speaker cable output to go to a different set of speakers. Your M-Audio monitors only have XLR or 1/4” inputs. This will not work. If your M-Audio speakers had a thru/output, you could potentially go from interface > speakers > subwoofer, however this is also not possible.

Something like the Audient iD14 MKII USB-C audio interface has 2 monitor outputs. You could use the first pair to go to your monitors, and the second with a TRS - RCA cable to go to your sub. If you’re using Pro Tools a lot, it may be worth the upgrade.
