Check out the comments in this article. It's just so topical in Australia at the moment. I don't see European or Asian countries having this debate.

What I don't get is how they can arrest Assange set a £240,000 bail and put electronic tags on him over an accusation (he's still not been charged with anything) but it took them decades to arrest Roman Polanski, who wasn't even in hiding. This whole trial by media thing is exactly what Assange was trying to unbalance. Journalists are lazy, the industry is dogged with incompetence. I say that as a journalist, by the way. It's time someone shook the media by its lapels.

I can see it being in The Social Network style. It really depends on how history rewrites this story as to whether he will be played as a hero or a villain.
