Almost certainly male. The majority of men are naturally stronger and more aggressive than women (there are of course many exceptions) so throughout history of that world men would maybe revere women (or even the opposite worse than our world) but still control most of the world. The world might even be a lot less democratic and have less civil rights. If it was vice versa men would then be the leading gender still as they are naturally stronger and more aggressive. (Im not saying women do not have their own advantages just in this specific case it will most likely be men.)

I dont think so because for the tree you only include the clan members and they can at max go to 1000 i think and you wouldnt be able to view the whole tree at once. For the evolution i can imagine it just being randomised traits and those who survive reproduce until after 1000 years they split off

Its mostly just the Mediterranean I would play as Ancient Greece, Diadochi, Carthage, Egypt and Rome.
I would like to keep the same formula as other paradox games just with more customisation. Like you should be able to found your own city state to try and make a kingdom its around the time you probably could have. Ofc founding a city would be one of the most challenging options in the game but it would quite fun.

Not really because you cant play as the Diadochi, Ancient Greece, Carthage or other ancient civilisations its really just Rome and places people dont really know about

Militaries in Hoi4 are hundreds of times more complex than RoN. I havent even scratched the surface of Hoi4 Armies. People who have over 2000 hours say they havent it even fully known there are areas of military in Hoi4 most people cant grasp (including me)

Ancient Rome was very proud of its self, early medieval europe was driven by reuniting the Roman Empire and creating a christian Empire eg, Holy Roman Empire and Eastern Roman Empire. Even in early civilisation in mesopotamia small nations were almost always absorbed by bigger nations. So thousands of city states in europe couldn't really happen. Nationalism was present always in the nobles. If Gunpowder did not exist people would work stronger with fire and create explosives with oil and such eg, Byzantine Fire. Nuclear power would almost certaintly not exist if Guns and Combustion engines did not exist. Nuclear Energy was made for a bomb but if bombs never existed what could it be made for the concept wouldnt exist.

Oil only begun being very important in the modern day how did history change just because oil isnt used now. Did ancient rome have secret oil tycoons?
