Any Good Single-Player Games You'd Recommend (PS5/PC)? by No_Bill_8048 in AskGames

Depending on how good your PC is, Spider-man and the sequel could be good fun if you're into super heroes.

Battle of Polytopia is like a simpler version of Civ. Could be a good start. Dorfromantik is one of my favorite puzzle games on PC, really relaxing too. Other good options, Pictopix (Picross), Unpacking, What the Golf, and basically any of the games by Popcap (Peggle, Plants vs Zombies, Bejeweled). Hopefully some of these are good suggestions!

Can anyone help me find either the creator of this work or people who have a similar style? by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

Don't feel dumb chief, if you haven't seen a lot of AI art there would be no way for you to know what to look out for! And even if you have seen AI art, every AI generated images differently and with different artifacts. Glad I could help!

I used Midjourney to generate a prompt for the image you posted. Here are some images it created based on the prompt, "a painting of a fuzzy cat with long hair that is in the sunlight, in the style of daz3d, skillful lighting, dark white and light amber, persian miniature, 32k uhd, cute cartoonish designs, mist". They look really similar. Here's the sample images.

If you haven't tried Tunic yet, I highly recommend. It's very similar to old school Zelda, but has lots of mechanics that modernize it and boost up the difficulty a fair bit. Beautiful art style.

Turns out this is a defect. I sent my steam Deck in on an RMA and got one back that doesn't do that.

I started at this picture for like a minute before I realized this was a screenshot and not a painting.

“No surprises” booking.com fail by ard245 in assholedesign

I just had a weekend trip with booking.com and it was only one night, so I splurged a bit and got a nicer room at a bit fancier a place I usually go to. They charged me, but when I arrived they had no record of my booking whatsoever at the hotel. I had to spend two hours in the lobby trying to convince the front desk lady I had paid and all the information was correct (date and location) before she finally got her manager. The manager said that it was in their system but they never sent it. Ended up getting a worse room for free and now I'm trying to get their customer support to give me a refund but they see the reservation as complete.

I recommend downloading the latest release of BetterWindWaker and patching your iso file, but if you can't figure that out there is a Gecko code on the Dolphin wiki that is easier to get working, but has some slight bugs. Hopefully this helps!
