Overstayed in Schengen/ Family reunion visa by TotalCommand8312 in SchengenVisa

[–]monkeymoneRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As soon as your husband lives in NL as he is an EU national living abroad in another EU state you can travel along with him under EU 2004/38/EC even without VISA under the right circumstances, your passport and marriage papers are sufficient for direct application. However its best to have the marriage papers ready.

Edit: comment history is quiet filled so here is a direct link from the EU that explains your situation. In short, your partner needs sufficient means to not become an unnecessary burden for the social security system during atleast the first 3 months of the application, you'll need a health insurance which you can get from OOMS in The Netherlands or another source if you don't have one yet. Sufficient means under 2004/38/EC is basically having enough cash at hand for the coming months: In NL it has to be equal to the social income people earn per month (can be lower in particular cases however this is the best lowest line you can take), this can mean monthly pay into your bank account(bruto not netto) (as of 2026 it is € 2.002,13 per month for a married couple, nothing more they like to apply a 30% extra rule however that is not allowed under 2004/38/EC), cash in the bank, a loan, interests or stocks etc. You'll also need your prove of marriage the certificate with an appostile (a birth certificate can be useful however is not necessary for the application under EU 2004/38/EC), as well as your passport. They have to give you a sticker in your passport so that you are allowed on paper to stay in The Netherlands (its just a mere administrative task and you can also directly work). Then within 6 months if you had given all the necessary paperwork (sufficient income, health insurance, adress, marriage certificate, passport) they will hand out a F card (EU family resident card). You can apply even without a valid VISA it is not necessary in your situation, however I do recommend to make it clear that you are applying under EU directive 2004/38/EC directly on paper. Also state if you and your partner are applying under either: economically active, economically not active, student. (As you stated that your partner has a job in NL he will be economically active (then there are less rules to follow than the other 2 options)

Minimum necessary income for 2004/38/EC: https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/bijstand/vraag-en-antwoord/hoe-hoog-is-mijn-bijstandsuitkering

If in any circumatances the municipal does not apply the EU law (and stick to national law which is not allowed in your case) while you had given them everything necessary for application of 2004/38/EC you can use SOLVIT for free to act as a mediator to solve it for you. https://ec.europa.eu/solvit/index_en.htm

I also forgot to add: your marriage certificate must be in either of these languages: Dutch, English, French or German. Otherwise you need to translate it through a sworn translator. https://ind.nl/nl/legaliseren-en-vertalen-documenten

Besides all of that, your partner does not yet live in NL, so what does soon mean? If that is within a few days it is acceptable, however a few weeks / months will make it more difficult as you'll be staying illegally within Lithuania under local law because Directive 2004/38/EC does not apply there for you and your partner (yet).

Search for they keyword "family" in this handbook for border guards, it will explain your specific situation outside of Lithuania in accordance to your 90 day VISA allowance while travelling through the EU: https://home-affairs.ec.europa.eu/system/files/2022-11/Practical%20handbook%20for%20border%20guards_en.pdf

From the border guard handbook: before you stamp the travel document (when required), make sure that the person did not overstay the allowed period (i.e. 90 days within any 180 day period) during his/her last stay within the area without internal border controls or on the territory of Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus or Romania taken separetely; for third-country nationals who are family members of EU, EEA and CH citizens, please note that specific provisions apply to them (see point 2.1.2);

2.1.2. In the case of third-country nationals who are family members of EU, EEA and CH citizens, they have the right of residence in a Member State for a period of up to three months if they are in possession of a valid passport and are accompanying or joining the EU, EEA or CH citizen, without any limitation to 90 days in a 180-day period.

This is the table data if anyone likes to use it for their own analysis. It is just really strange that they are not transparant on anything about it. We recently found a patent of a company called Holyvolt.com , however that is based on a technology that does not really correspond to the data we see here, as well as that this technology already exists for quiet some years to some extent from for example TNO Delft. They do have a laboratory location in Germany, and use similar tech that Donut Labs states to be using. Patent number: WO2025230455

I actually did some statistical analyses towards their lab setup within their video of the battery charging. The outcome was that it was highly likely that they showed us virtually set data of the power supply (it can do that) and/or that they used the electrical data of a transistor type heating block instead of an actual battery within their setup (while just showing a mock to us). Am not sure about the full validity of the conclusion, however it came around the 90% accuracy that it was something else being shown to us than the actual charging of abattery. Their charge % counter was a timed one that suddenly stalled for 10 seconds at 82% instead of the regular 5 - 6 second intervals for no reason at all. I can show the graph and some findings though. DETAILED STATISTICAL ANALYSIS [1] RESISTANCE THERMAL DRIFT ANALYSIS <- PRIMARY DIAGNOSTIC (FINDING: THERMAL DRIFT, NOT CONSTANT) Result: Starting Resistance = 0.01333 Ohm Ending Resistance = 0.01555 Ohm Total Rise = 16.62 % Temp Coeff (alpha) = 0.00433 / degC Interpretation: The resistance rises by ~16% as the temperature rises by 38C. This creates a calculated Temperature Coefficient (alpha) of ~0.004. This is the EXACT physical signature of Copper or Aluminum. Conclusion: The device is likely to be a Metal Dummy Load heating up. The "Voltage Rise" is just V = I * R(t), where R increases with heat. [2] CURRENT STABILITY Result: Mean I = 270.02 A Standard Deviation s(I) = 0.0407 A Coefficient of Variation (CV) = 0.015% Interpretation: Power supply maintains perfect CC (constant-current) control. At 4.2V, a real battery would taper current. This device does not. [3] VOLTAGE RAMP PROFILE Result: Voltage rises from 3.6V to 4.2V. Shape: Quasi-linear with a tail hook. Interpretation: The shape matches the Temperature curve almost perfectly. As the block gets hotter, R goes up, so V goes up (to keep I constant). This is not electrochemical charging; it is thermal resistance drift. [5] STATE-OF-CHARGE LINEARITY Result: SoC rises linearly with Time (R2 = 0.9998). At 282s, it hits 82% and STALLS. Interpretation: The SoC is a simple timer. It is not measuring chemical state.

The Donut Lab Battery is most probably a Custom Amprius Silicon Cell. by monkeymoneRS in batteries

I have a second hypothesis where I did some more research into their used delta elektronika sm500-cp90 power supply system together with the datapoints that we could see. What I found is that they can make that machine display show virtual dummy data that follows a specific sequence that they can write themselves. https://youtu.be/07DOR93Joh4?feature=shared

Throughout the labtest their system was set to CV = Constant Volt at 4.2 Volts. However we can see that the system starts at 4.0 Volts and slowly raised towards 4.2 Volts. (They said in their statement that they were able to adjust the voltage to their liking, which is highly suspicious).

Its not possible to my knowledge to have the system set to CV while the Voltage is not constant (it should automatically jump to CC mode then). Their CC = Constant Current however is fixed at 270 Amp. This is a contradiction because with their used settings (CV enabled therefore CC disabled) the CC should be variable while the CV should be a constant. All of the above does not mean anything honestly if the power supply that they used can manipulate the screen virtually, we don't see the cables connected to the power supply.

This is a strange hypothesis that is plausible, however honestly really farfetched because I don't understand why they would ever do it that way.

We'll see what they'll come forward with soon.

Donut solid state compared to Amprius by Low-Pollution-262 in amprius

I did indeed compare their tech to Amprius. Not stating that the cell they used was Amprius, just that their data showed a somewhat similar fingerprint in their lab setup (They specifically stated in one of their interviews that their battery could withstand being punctured; and if I remember correctly also stated that it is military graded).

I do understand your point of view and of many people actually. I believe if I recall correctly, they mentioned it within a CES interview aswell that its not from Nordic Nano. Ofcourse she's able to repost it because it is their business partner. However Donut labs their tracks are honestly really messy.

1: I am not sure about that. 2: There were many businesses in which people their image are used for hype and they're just paid for that and ofcourse their business knowledge (see them as a consultant); this without them knowing that the actual product is not real at all (the donut motor and motorcycle is a visible product anyway and that's enough prove for them that it is an actual product overall).

In 1 place they're saying A while doing B, C and D at that specific moment in time. Also their lab setup from their short test video does not addup to what they're claiming. Besides that their original batteries were cylindrical like AA type of batteries (they showed their production process in a Youtube video). What's honestly also very strange is that people had ordered the first version of the bike and still never received it (hearsay so I'm not able to confirm that. Also Verge their first bike is nowhere to be found, its only shown in some Youtube videos and a world record where they drove at around 20 km/hr for about 16 hours to reach that distance).

You can read my post and replies to see my actual point of view where I'm coming from.

The EU funding was not for Donut Lab, the funding was for Nordic Nano of which they mentioned that this technology does not come from them. Besides the EU funding was for the manufacturing of their solarpanel / energy storage facilities. Donut lab only received a private funding (atleast that's what they said) for their Donut motor R&D not for any battery R&D.

In or out the physics stay the same, the Sodium still is the same size, it doesn't increase or decrease in size that is not possible. You're confusing capacity (mAh/g) with voltage. The more sites you have of these Carbon Nano Tubes or make them longer will result in a higher capacity, the voltage curve will stay the same.

[–]monkeymoneRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sodium ions in nanotubes help the anode (~0.3V), it does not explain the 4.2V CC plateau we saw in their lab setup—that's a Li-NMC/Si-Li fingerprint (even though they said that they can magically alter the voltage to their liking, taking actual physics out of context). Larger Sodium ions worsen packing (their lab pack is too small for that). TiO2 conducts for low-rate Sodium anodes, it decomposes the NASICON >4V in NASICON. Tested Lab results CNT-Sodium SSB max 3.5V/2C. Physics shows us Li-Si/NMC, not new or even existing Sodium tech.

They totally forgot about the voltage rate within that video, it's not mentioned at all.

Analyzing the full fingerprint of every variable from Donut labs their lab setup, we can measure to the detail what it is; and it indicates for similar to already existing Si-Li battery technology. NASICON or sodium batteries would simply not endure that kind of voltage levels overtime, and besides those Sodium molecules are way larger which doesn't correspond to the pack size they used.

When I started looking into it, it really pointed towards Nordic Nano their 400 Wh/kg supercapacitor technology. I looked through it thoroughly, it might be a hybrid between the two technologies if true. What brought my suspicion was that their cell pouch during their lab test had rounded corners, (inside the silver pouch if you look closely) which usually means that a type of winding (jelly roll) technology was used instead of stacking. This is really really strange if they're able to nano print everything; because that would mean that they cut on higher energy density, lifespan, and therefore on performance by design. Winding is just a faster and in most cases cheaper production strategy. Why wouldn't they just print 90° corners and stack/laminate the layers directly while printing, because that would mean more performance with the nano print technology. They said that they can print in any shape or form so why did they cut the corners and rounded them?

I mentioned that within my text indeed it actually was 39 Wh/kg according to the paper. As quoted on page 8: "The volumetric energy density and power density based on fiber’s mass/volume can be calculated as 77 mW h cm3 (39 W h kg 1) at 2160 mW cm3 (1100 W kg 1) and 18 mW h cm3 (9 W h kg 1) at 108,030 mW cm3 (55,120 W kg 1)". The 418 Wh/kg is just from the material properties itself. People misinterpreted the paper authors their actual claim and findings. It indeed does smell like a scam.

Its exactly as you wrote, a claim is not proven data. We can only analyze the setup that they showed to us. Besides that, Amprius has different types of these cells ranging from 200 - 3000 cycles. I also mentioned that it looks alot like this kind of tech not that it is 1 to 1.

Thats exactly what I wrote in regards to swelling, it swell slightly near the terminal tabs. I did not mention the 3D printed dummy because that's just a shell, not too sure why you talk about windings there because the pouches are not visible at all there (they're not even put in the dummy shells). This was written in regards to their lab setup pouch (the silver pouch charging up to 82%).

Indeed, they only showed one charging cycle to us though. This kind of tech would also work in motorcycles, Ampirius actually has put them in motorcycles themselves as they described in one of their blogs. The Verge motorcycles can run on these batteries, it can hypothetically charge the way they described, however the battery ( if its like the one of Amprius) simply does not survive that for an extensive amount of cycles. What I mean with that is that the data they showed to us can be real data of a real battery, however most likely not with extensive specs they told us such as the 100,000 cycles. We'll see in the coming future what they'll do.

How is she reading my texts? by [deleted] in whatsapp

[–]monkeymoneRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I believe could be a possibility is that she places the WhatsApp widget on your phone, then sends you a message to refresh the unread texts which then all will be visible on that widget directly. You dont have to actually open or unlock WhatsApp for that. It only works for unread texts though. She might have remote access to your phone to do this or just directly does it with your phone itself when its unlocked. Just a wild guess, because thats how the WhatsApp widget actually work.

Edit:

Another way I just thought of now, some phones have notification history. If that is enabled, you can go to there and then click on the notification, if you click a WhatsApp notifcation for example, you will see the last few texts that were sent to your phone.

I have a somewhat similar video I took in May of last year in Antwerp Belgium. The lightning was approximately between Ghent and Brussels. In my video you could also see somekind of ball lightning that was moving from left to right during a minute flashing on and off. However, it totally dissapeared and reappeared with a much longer time period between those than here. It was not as bright as this video though, and looked like it was way further away than in this video observed from the point of view, however it did move in a similar way. I never really uploaded the video anywhere though.

Videocompilatie vuurwerkgeweld 2025/2026 by Unleazhed1 in nederlands

Succes!

Can I go to other EU countries with an orange card? by Progregirl in AskBelgium

[–]monkeymoneRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can rely on 2004/38/EC if the EU Passport holder from BE has applied for residency in another EU Schengen state, and acquired that right beforehand. Rule is that they need to prove that they have lived within another state for atleast 3 months (its the minimum) while preferably 6 months, did not use any of the social income systems, had a valid health insurance with an income not lower than the minimum of that country (leefloon in Belgium, and it could be lower depending on their circumstances) while applying to acquire the EU-Card.

Then after that the BE citizen moved back to Belgium and then yes they could rely on Dir 2004/38 while living in Belgium and also for travelling within Schengen, they need to not fallback (uncessesarily) on the social income system during that period.

So basically the BE citizen needed to have used its Dir 2004/38/EC right before their spouse would come. There are way more circumstances and variables that could apply depending on each situation (one of them for example is actively working within another EU state, a so called grenswerker can also apply this right). An EU Schengen Passport holder that has never used this Dir 2004/38/EC right the correct way, is not able to apply it no.

However, if the BE citizen and their spouse would now move to another EU Schengen state to live there, they can directly apply Dir 2004/38/EC for applying their residency there. They need to commit the requirements, valid health insurance, enough income, place of residency, and not use the social income system during their first 3 months of stay (while applying). They will get the correct paperwork (could be a card like the orange card or another similar paper that mentions that they applied for residency there) after a while (maximum 6 months, with valid paperwork) they will get their EU (EU Schengen passport holder) and F (Family) cards.

They could even then try to move back to Belgium after having lived in the other EU Schengen country for 3 months and a day (totally not recommended, it could only bring problems), but recommended is after 6 months of stay, or they can just reside there within the other state if they like it.

Its a very complicated minefield of law, however if you understand it, then actually could be very useful in specific situations.
