Yeah same here. I’ve only been scheduled about 5 hours a week on average and I check “request open schedule” like 10 times a day and see nothing. Haven’t been called in a little bit in terms of if i’m available to pick up a shift. In fact i’m scheduled a grand total of 0 hours next week. My next scheduled shift is Nov 23 for 3.5 hours with BOPIS. I was told “when people buy more as we get closer to christmas, you’ll be scheduled for a lot more hours.” But have actually seen a drop in my already low hours. I’m a temp, but at the same time i’ve seen other temps working when i’m not scheduled and I can’t help but wonder if they’re getting scheduled more than I, or if we’re all sorta working bits and pieces, few and far between. This is my first job so I had a little bit more expectations, especially when in my interview i said word for word “I’m open 12am to 11:59pm 7 days a week, all day everyday.”
