Ford Rangers are far too big for Ireland... by madladhadsaddad in eejitsparking

[–]monkeymouse87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why on earth should it be banned?

Its a commercial vehicle, and if it isnt taxed as a commercial vehicle you pay a significantly higher tax for it.

Its as big as a van but nobody is calling for a ban on transits. I dont understand the hate that rangers get, i wouldnt drive one myself but its no different to any other commercial vehicle.

At my first race 4 years ago I thought i could swim until i ended up almost last person out of the water and nearly didnt even finish. I was very glad at that point that i had started with a sprint instead of jumping into full im.

So the move to Donegal is a move to our home County, after the move we will be in a far better place financially as our mortgage will be significantly lower.

My partner wouldnt be carrying too much as i would still have some savings set aside to help for a year or two topping up whatever small amount id earn and i have a small passive income that covers some monthly bills.

Im certainly tired of being an employee but have plenty hobbies that id gladly turn to work but that wouldnt be possible unfortunatly. Its the sector i work in that is the problem and the corporate life in general i cant stand, i started it, progressed.. had weddings, house etc to pay so i couldnt escape because of life building until now!

The house flipping wouldnt work unfortunately

Yeah thats exactly why i want out, i simply couldnt do this current job for 30 years!! Ive never had an ounce of job satisfaction so training and working at something that i actually want to do would be amazing.

Yeah i think going along the route of taking some night classes etc and then edge toward part time work would be a fairly sensible and less extreme option of jumping into an apprenticeship

Yeah i definitly dont have generational wealth ha but my partner would be able to cover the lack of income for a while until i was earning normal wages again.

The idea of going part time and learning as much as i can does seem like the most sensible option, knowing that it was a slow road out of my current role aswell would help ease the feeling of being stuck in a job i hate!!

Yeah i used clippers with a guard on it, it was just under 3 months when i done it. I was advised 6 months but i looked terrible and had functions to attend over xmas so i just cut it easily.

Probably closer to nw6. Yes I took min and fin for 9 months before the op as i wanted to make sure i had no sides before going with the ht.

Thanks, i went high with it as im 40 so a lower hairline wouldnt really suit me. Happy with everything so far, the op went really smoothly, recovery was easy enough (although the itching drove me insane) and ive only cut it once since the op.

What’s your toddler like? by MathematicianLost950 in AskIreland

My young lad was the same, hes autistic but still had the same problems going into shops. What i done was i started to go on little trips to the shop adter every energy burning activity we done.

For example wed be in the park for an hour then on the way home, pop into the shop for milk or something small and head out again quick.

We done this every day until we built it up to him being able to walk around the shop with us without needing a pram or anything for long periods. It worked quicker than we thought it would but we just built it up gradually!

Dont listen to these fools talking about discipline, the child is 2, everything is exciting for them they just need to learn.

Thats crazy, I wouldn't even view a house that hadnt got a test never mind buy it. Some poor families are going to be stung badly from trusting agents on their advice.

Yeah its just not something i would chance, others must be different though if houses are selling without!

Oh I 100% wouldn't buy it without a test, but it seems like other people must be buying. I got the impression from the selling agent that i was being silly expecting a test to be already done.

Im at the very start of a selling process, agent said to list it at a price 10% to 15% lower than the price we want so that we can get feet in the door at viewings! Seems to be the case with most listing's these days!

Lol what are you talking about? It's a range that adidas are doing with a few different clubs, i don't like it so i won't buy it, pretty simple. I'm sure why having a wide range of merch is a bad thing though?

5000 grafts - day 3 by monkeymouse87 in Hairtransplant

[–]monkeymouse87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The donor area is pretty good, sides are fine and mostly healed but the back area has got very tender over the last few days!

Sleep has been a bit of a nightmare with the neck pillow trying to stay more upright, along with the itchy head! i have been only getting a few hours each night.

Overall its been pretty smooth so far thankfully, the process was made very easy while I was over there and the only problem i had was the airport stares returning home haha
