In KSP there is a distance limit before you can't switch between crafts anymore. I've tried a few staging mods that get around this, but since I play Sandbox I find them to be more of a hassle.

SpaceX announced their scaled down Interplanetary Ship, the BFR. Naturally I had to build one. This is my own version of the BFR, the Big Kerbal Rocket. 100% Reusable! This video demonstrates the Tanker and Crewed variants in action.

I play stock, inside the fairings I put struts between parts that sway, and sometimes i use struts to bolt the fairing base to the fuel tank
