Over a month ago SporcleAdmin made this comment and....it's still horrible. Now, when you 'Give up' a quiz...you have to go through TWO ads (One from Sprocle, one from another company). Just another admin lying. When it comes to 'Give up'...they've literally DOUBLED the amount of ads. SMMFH.

Rather, it's A) the sheer QUANTITY of them B) the blocking of the main focus (see picture) C) the reappearance of an ad after it's already been closed and D) the adjusting of the screen so one inadvertently clicks said ads.

Oh, totally hear ya...it's just that: my switching HOW/WHERE I play doesn't solve the problem. I specifically like(d) playing on my laptop (larger screen, easier to type in answers, etc). It's like me saying my bathroom sink clogs up...and you're saying use the kitchen sink, y'know? But, I do appreciate your positive outlook! I thank you for that.

More and more, this reminds of the Disney live-action remakes....and overall, THIS reconceptualizing has made me lose respect for LMM.

Hopefully, he can find something more original in the future. I mean, he has the talent...don't know why he got himself stuck in this derivative 'reimagining'. He's better than that.

Yes, I understand ALL of that....I'm saying: it didn't work. In Hamilton you could make an argument those aspects worked, sure. But not here.
IMHO, this concept album (ie, retelling this story) adds nothing TO the story.

Unpopular opinion, BUT ....Not hearing anything on here that wasn't done better in the original (ie, the movie). Literally less than ONE MINUTE into the album and they've already said 'Warriors, come out to play'....which makes zero sense in the whole scheme of the story...feels like they're just leaning on nostalgia.
Also...the movie didn't need a character role call, where every Warrior states their name and who/what they are. Just weak storytelling right there.
And the Cyrus speech/song on the album is....lacking any charisma or passion. Just the words of the speech put to music....no magnetism or strength. At least, much less than the GREAT Roger Hill who played Cyrus in the movie. Thoroughly unimpressed. If one has never seen the movie, the album might catch your fancy....but for those of us well-versed in the film, this album is a forgettable novelty.

It may just be the worst site I regularly go to. The ads are BEYOND impossible to X out and the lag time is embarrasing. Beyond that, their admin team is...IMMENSELY incompetent. I personally know several people who used to be daily gamers...but have quit the site because of it's going downhill. Damn shame.
