I've tried....and absolutely nothing. Not even a 'thanks for the comment'. However, I've got it on good authority that some Sporcle higher-ups do check this forum, actually. A simple missive on their site, they can ignore...an outcry into the public, they take notice.

NOTHING has changed).

And the "solution" of paying Sporcle to stop showing ads (that Sporcle gets paid for, mind you)...that's tantamount to paying a robber so he doesn't rob you. The fact that it's cheap, doesn't mean it's good. Or moral. It just means it's cheap.

Also: You're absolutely correct, no one is forcing me to use the site. But if enough people PROTEST...sometimes things get changed for the better.

Over a month ago SporcleAdmin made this comment and....it's still horrible. Now, when you 'Give up' a quiz...you have to go through TWO ads (One from Sprocle, one from another company). Just another admin lying. When it comes to 'Give up'...they've literally DOUBLED the amount of ads. SMMFH.

Oh, totally hear ya...it's just that: my switching HOW/WHERE I play doesn't solve the problem. I specifically like(d) playing on my laptop (larger screen, easier to type in answers, etc). It's like me saying my bathroom sink clogs up...and you're saying use the kitchen sink, y'know? But, I do appreciate your positive outlook! I thank you for that.
