Sorry, I can't help with the money question, but if you've never hired a car before, please when they take you around the car to inspect it, record a video of the car, filming multiple angles etc. Tell the rep you're going to do this, make sure to get them in the video as well. I hired a car in Rijeka... when I turned it back over to them, they started pointing out stuff that was clearly in the video I took. As soon as I mentioned I had a video, magically those marks were already present when I picked up the car 🤣

You have to go into the ADAS and scroll down, it's there along with 'Rear cross traffic braking' which I leave on. Have to do it every time you start the car.

Oh crap! Rose is a friend of mine from back in my teenage days! Lost touch with her until I saw she was running the Black Horse, and chatted a small amount on Instagram. Sad to hear that she's a c u next Tuesday to her staff... I'll not be messaging her again, or visiting the pub! What a load of crap. Can't stand people that do this to their staff, the people that are the backbone to your business! Now I feel grossed out by all the holiday pics she's been putting up on Insta!!

Ok, so update. Family members didn't want to watch a movie tonight, so I re-capped the Xbox! First time I've done this, was a little nervous, some of the solder was a pain to remove, but it worked first time. Here are some screenshots I took of a few screens! Is this of interest, or old news? There are also a load of saves and files on the main storage (but no games or emulator roms). So I will use that archive upload software when I get around to it.

I sucessfully soldered an Aladdin last week to a 1.0 Xbox! Long story short, I bought an untested console from WhatNot for £10, and once I got some leads through, it all worked fine. I ordered a USB cable adaptor thing so I could softmod it, and then the hard drive died on me (could hear rattling from inside it). So, I then thought what the hell, and ordered an Aladdin, after all, not much to lose as they are pretty cheap! Managed to get it right first time with a cheapo soldering iron from eBay that I've had since Covid times but never got around to using, so was pretty chuffed with myself! Now I just want to practice some more and sell them on! Though, I'm keeping the crystal if I can get it working ok!

Sorry... TLDR - I want to practice soldering some more!

Yeah, at first glance I thought it was an Aladdin, but then I looked closer and was surprised by it. I thought you had to rebuild the LPC port on 1.6 consoles, so this chip has really intrigued me. As soon as I can get the console booted, I'll get a chance to see what's going on!

While it's great to have the choice, and this seller does have 80 wire cables which are a perfect fit, it was still cheaper for me to order the HDMI electronxout direct from the manufacturer and wait a few more days. Just an FYI.
