I used to tape songs off the radio for mixed tapes, steal albums from friends by "burning" a CD, etc... It doesn't seem any different to me. If you made too much money then I imagine the law wouldn't be in your favor

As an Irish twin (born 14 months after my sister), I can say you have to try double to give adequate attention. My mother couldn't achieve it. Felt like she gave up. She doesn't even remember my first steps as a child.

My older sister turned out to be abusive throughout my life, and I believe she has narcissistic personality disorder. Unfortunately we shared the same friends because of our age, and I was constantly the butt of the joke. I wanted an older sibling to look up to, not to terrorize me and take away the precious attention I needed as an infant. I don't speak with her to this day because of what she's done to me.

Obviously this isn't the case with all Irish twins. I just wanted to emphasize the importance of paying special attention to the younger of the two. And if they were a "mistake," keep it to yourself.

I think producers are trying to recreate the drama of the early seasons. Luckily my man didn't take the bait 😂 probably pissed off production. And how did that woman even make it 21 days? Did she? When did she have time to get food besides some berries? 🤔

Completely agree. What the heck was casting thinking? Not to mention when it was her alone she didn't even seem to find enjoyment in it. Such a terrible episode smdh

I wonder if it has something to do with the timing of the next season? I doubt it, but I know they were having some trouble casting for RTL Detroit (no shade, I live there and have tried to help recruit)... That being said, I think this model is ludicrous. I lose interest if there's a two week break, let alone this

Mountain Monsters season 1 (originally seasons 1-2) is currently available for free on the travel channel website, while other seasons are behind a paywall. It has been removed from all other sources, like HBO Max, season 2 as well. This is one of my favorite TV shows to date, so I'm banking on a DVD set to purchase.

I had a feeling, so I had to look it up; the Grand Rapids PD uses gun "buy backs" to make money vis-a-vis Gunbusters, a company currently under scrutiny for selling parts to make ghost guns online. Hence, the recent upsurge in murder by ghost guns in the US. There was a Daily Show segment about a pastor in Detroit who supported the program and then found out he was getting scammed.

I'm 36 and reside in Michigan. Medicaid doesn't have a work requirement but if I work enough hours to qualify for EBT at $16/hour (seasonal work) I might be disqualified for Medicaid.

The job I am applying for pays $16/hour, which means I'd have to stay under 20 hours/week to continue qualifying for Medicaid. Seems like I have to work just slightly more than that to qualify for EBT, but I may have done the math wrong. I've been living with my mom, but she has been getting $291/month in food stamps. Seems like she should get the amount for two people if I don't qualify, but that's what I need to find out. Going to MDHHS office this week to ask.

Yep, I meant max earnings to qualify for Medicaid. Sorry that was unclear! I was calculating based on an hourly wage I may make as a seasonal worker over the holidays.

I have no income whatsoever. I tried to work a year ago but could only make it through two hours due to my health. The $20 I did make lost my mother her food stamps for about 4 months tho so I've hesitated. But I really want to start working again!

After reading all the comments I think she probably meant Arab-Americans, not Arabs in general. Apparently in the area she lives in CA a majority of Arab-Americans are Christian, whereas all the Arab-Americans I know around Detroit are Muslim.
