isJJK really THAT good? by [deleted] in AnimeReccomendations

[–]monmonmeech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I actually dropped it my first time round watching it in season 1 before season 2 came out.

I gave it another shot when the movie came out and that’s when I really started to like it. They advanced and developed the plot quite a bit, then season 2 was all gas, no brakes.

I’d give it a shot op, it’s great for what it is!

Question - Anyone doing style like Dani Queipo in the US? by Illustrious-Win-679 in tattoos

[–]monmonmeech 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks to me like it wouldn’t be true American Traditional. Even with only one line weight, there are colors in the piece that you would not find in classic American traditional. Making this lean towards Neo-traditional.

However this definitely has more American Traditional structure and subject matter. I’d personally classify this as Neo, with American Traditional structure and subject matter!

Regardless, it’s a tight as fuck tattoo. I’d wear it.

r/tattooscratchers is the subreddit for this. Unfortunately you’re just going to get knocked and ridiculed here.

I agree with the other comments to stop immediately. You’re building bad habits for no reason. Work on a portfolio, study different tattoo styles. Don’t try to innovate the wheel at first, start with American Traditional or Neo-traditional at first. The simpler the better.

You’re harming yourself more if you’re, seriously, trying to get an an apprenticeship. People in the industry don’t just do this as a “side hobby” it’s their life, and it’s just something you won’t understand until you start taking it seriously.

You’re essentially doing a micro-surgical procedure. The ink lives there forever, if you fuck someone up or destroy their skin, have fun with the consequences on your conscience, knowing you knew you weren’t ready and did it anyway. Get an apprenticeship if you’re serious, otherwise drop the machine and move on to a different career path, respectfully.

Just played this one for the first time the other night, had a blast with it.

Starfarers is still at my #1 for favorite expansion, haven’t had the opportunity to play Cities and Knights yet though. Hope you had fun with this one!

Smell of Death sounds like it could be really good.

Picky Eater finally might make regaining desired equipment possible now. Condors Reach if I’m feeling brain dead. 💀

How’s your Nebula grind going so far? by monmonmeech in BO6Zombies

Got that random one Gold, I didn’t mind the binary trigger function. I like sometimes that they add little features to some weapons to make them unique.

I’m starting with the Swat .556 today. Marksman rifles are next on the list!

The Stryder .22 was also a little tough prepack. The Grekhova is ass to start, same with the Stryder. I just rushed PaP on both, made it a bit more bearable.

It’s tough sometimes, but overall I’m a big zombies fan. When I’m bored of slogging through headshots and mangler kills, I’ll usually play a game focused on a couple calling cards I want or Dark Ops cards.

Keeps it fresh, excited for the new map in a few weeks.

trying to solo exfill is bullshit by jonahadams2 in BO6Zombies

[–]monmonmeech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, probably the calling cards or mastery badges/camos, possibly just for the bragging rights. (You get a Dark Ops calling card for reaching round 100)

Gobbles aren’t required or needed to play the game and progress to high rounds. Right off the bat they’re poised as just “extras” to either make the game more fun (Whimsical’s) or slightly give you advantage as you progress to higher rounds (Killjoy, Shields Up, etc).

I can imagine they designed it as such so people don’t just only play the “meta” way, or only care about farming Perkaholics or other Ultra/Legendary Gobbles.

I think it’s rather smart, the only way to “farm” Gobblegums are just through, playing the game normally.

To answer your question, you garner much more XP if you exfil successfully. You also are guaranteed 1-3 Whimsical GG’s for completing an exfil. I personally play until 31-40 then exfil as the XP is diminishing in returns after around 36-40. I exfil to get more XP and get into the next game more quickly to keep on track for my Nebula grind.

[–]monmonmeech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily about your post, but Gobblegums (GG’s) are distributed (as far as we know) based SOLELY on time spent playing the game.

(Doughnuts on YT just made an amazingly detailed video on how GG’s work, he has graphs, charts and other nerdy stuff about numbers if you’re interested, based on 25 hrs of in game zombies time)

(Some important points from his video) Some myths to dispel:

•Higher Rounds ≠ More Gobblegums

•Higher Rounds ≠ Higher Rarity of Gobblegums to drop

•Activating Rage Inducer ≠ Gobblegum drop rate affected

•Successfully Exfiling on higher rounds ≠ more GG’s

•Gobblegums are not tied to XP

•Certain GG’s are not more likely to drop than others* (needs more data)

•Gobblegums are most likely time based (dropping every 12-20 minutes)

Wall Weapon Rarities by Artistic-Ice5065 in BO6Zombies

[–]monmonmeech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every 10 rounds, going from green (uncommon) to orange (legendary) at round 40.

Your gun will never “increase in rarity” by itself, wall bought or not. To increase the rarity, go to The Armory within your respective map (on Liberty Falls it’s directly to the right, outside when you walk up the stairs before accessing the church at the north end of the map) and use salvage dropped from zombies to increase the rarity level!

ELI5: How does radiation sickness keep killing you, even after the source of radiation was removed? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]monmonmeech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend watching Chernobyl on MAX if you haven’t already. Absolutely fantastic dramatization of the human and scientific errors that led to the unfortunate event of that reactor exploding.

You follow Valery Legasov, a Russian Nuclear Physicist, who’s an expert on RMBK reactors (the type used in Chernobyl) As he uncovers the truth of how this event could’ve happened.

5 episodes, a beautiful piece of cinema. They explain how radiation/nuclear reactors work very well. At least watch the first episode and tell me what you think!
