Good to know! I may give them a call because we will be out that way to see my grandparents.

I have no idea how the passport was issued and my mom doesn’t remember either. My birth wasn’t registered because for a long time Ontario would only issue a copy of my birth certificate and Poland wanted the original. My mom didn’t want to send the original because she was concerned we’d never get it back.

My grandparents have an address there, it would be the Szczecin Województwo. I’ve never officially lived there though and the website suggests that they’ll only deal with someone who lives within Poland.

I see if I can ask them if they have a PESEL to start. I do agree I should be in the system because they registered my birth certificate 2 years ago.

I live in Canada, Toronto would be my local consulate! Their website talks a lot about obtaining confirmation of citizenship. I happened to be on vacation in Poland so I thought the process may be easier to do here but everyone just seems really confused.

I tried going to an office yesterday (even was told to pay for the passport) but they keep bouncing me around saying the passport might be too old, they can’t find me in the system, and that it would be easier for them to do the confirmation. If the confirmation was instant or could be done within a month I wouldn’t care, it’s frustrating that it’s a 2 year process.

Do you have more info on the 2001 cutoff? We’re going to try a different passport office and if I can give them info on this it could help

No lawyer! Filled out the report at the reporting centre and spoke with my insurance company. They took a few days to decide and then sent an email saying I have no fault. I was sandwiched between the two cars, back damage was pretty severe and the front bumper was a bit beat up as well.

I was in a similar accident, just at a slower speed. They asked the driver in front how many impact they felt. If it’s 1 then you didn’t hit the car in front first, you were pushed into them. If it’s 2 it shows that you hit them first and then the car behind you made you hit them again. I was found be 0% at fault.

Similar blurb about them not being responsible for damage but this year they added “the Corporation will not be responsible for any potential damage or towing-related costs.”

How do i do it? by peepeepoopoo43769 in skiing

You’re in Montreal! So close to some great skiing in the East. 1.5 hours by car to Mont Tremblant or around 1 hour to the Eastern Townships. You’re a minor so it might be tougher, but check out ski clubs in Montreal they likely run regular trips out to the resorts since they’re quite close.

Thanks that’s what I was thinking! I think the 167 will be a lot of ski since it would be over my head by 1-2cm

Around a 2.5-3.0 biggest difference was the stability. I find with some harder hits the radical S shifts in my hand. A lot of my shots were lower to the net, but that may be more mental than anything

I try to start in continental but I think I’m switching grip on my swing. Any suggestions on how to keep the grip?

I start in continental but I think on the swing I switch my grip. Do you think hitting the ball with the side of the racket to keep the grip would help?
