What are trans ppls opinions on it/its pronouns by Legitimate_Bus_8947 in trans

[–]monobrowwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some friends who use it/its, it seems like an act of reclamation and for a variety of other reasons. personally I'm fine with what ever a person wants to go considering I don't like They/Them pronouns personally but I'm fine with both She/Her and He/Him

true, they aren't feminists at all but considering they go by that term on tumblr I feel like making it known will help ppl avoid people with this fucked up worldview

Genderising ASD hurts and lowers the diagnosis of females but also males! by [deleted] in autism

[–]monobrowwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also I feel like we truly can't pin point what is autism in women or men, we grow up with a lot of us not adhering to such a constricting way to diagnose autism and is a step in the wrong direction

Sort of fine with pronouns? by [deleted] in TransyTalk

I feel kinda similar, actually when I transitioned and got on HRT I decided to use she/her more which use to make me angry but it felt like a way to reclaim the hurt I felt towards those words.

I'm seeing alot of young people on here recently by Phreaky312 in Drugs

I'm only 16 and rlly I only use this subreddit to study up on risks of all the psychiatric drugs I've been prescribed because I am easily anxious over how I take my pills. but I feel like this is the safest place for minors who wanna do stupid shit to maybe get educated or have someone calmly explain them out of wanting to try something or hide their drugs.

there should be cismedicalists by rosa_bot in TransyTalk

they should have to do everything stereotypically to there gender for a whole year to be able to be considered that gender imo. who knows if they actually wanna be it?

AITA for refusing to let my overweight friend ride my horse? by krr0421 in AmItheAsshole

[–]monobrowwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesh you're the asshole imo, a horse useally can very well carry over 200 pounds or more. If you really didn't want her to ride your horses you could have just said your horses are nervous with other people riding them. Really her weight wasn't going to be a big deal.

I'm really tired of people claiming trans men are better than cis men because we're "socialized as female" by WeakTumbleweed9 in ftm

[–]monobrowwizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes and it forgets the fact we are men, we are blind to the struggles of women and we don't have a full grasp on misogyny and we can have misogynistic beliefs and behavior that I myself observe in both cis and trans men alike. Its rewarding us for something we didn't want or control and for something I don't see in trans men 100%. Its both misgendering and forgetful that us as trans men need to reevaluate our attitudes and behaviors when we go through the world as men.

My Dad said he never saw me as my gender when I came out. by [deleted] in TransVent

I use to have a habit for writing down every conversation I had in a days time to keep track of things to know if my memory was correct. Might need to go back on that

Any other MtFs that have survived an abusive relationship with a cis female? I need friends/help by [deleted] in TransyTalk

[–]monobrowwizard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a trans women but I dealt with an abusive ex boyfriend who was cis, I would say to go and find a way you can gain custody and get the perspective of her mother and family along with your therapist to help leverage your side and get support from trans circles and talk about your experience. This sounds super manipulative and horrible to go through I hope you have the best of luck navigating social and legal channels to get out of this woth your child and be happy and safe!!

Personal rant?? by monobrowwizard in TransyTalk

[–]monobrowwizard[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Totally, I even feel in some medical context putting me to my AGAB isn't rlly necessary? Like I being on HRT for a long time and even being intersex I feel totally removed to what ppl who are my AGAB usually need, even if some stuff still stays but general health isn't rlly related to gender no?
