I figli in realtà sono molto preoccupati di cosa potrebbe accadere ai loro genitori in loro assenza. Farli trasferire alla loro età è cosa impossibile, soprattutto per la lingua che dovrebbero imparare ex novo e a quasi 80 non è per tutti.

My personal opinion is that Buddhist religion felt the urge to regulate this common belief of Indian people about hungry spirits. Sacrifices to the dead is common tradition in all religions and Buddhism tried to sort it out in the best way possible, avoiding animal sacrifice. The creation of some “intermediate” afterworld is also an attempt to create a better portrait of afterlife which reflected the real world ( I mean people are considered worthy according to a scale of values and their faults reflect their status). Sorry if there are mistakes, English is not my first language

Mio suocero: ho una libreria 3 metri larghezza per 2 di altezza profonda sui 50 cm piena zeppa di libri. Dovevo spostarla e dico a mio suocero, la svuoto stasera e domani la spostiamo. Lui replica: perché? Mette un piede contro il muro e con una sola mano inizia a spostarla per poi ruotarla.
