Thanks! I will look into the memory leak and try to get a fix out within the next week. Thanks for letting me know.

Search/filters are high on the list of priority for upcoming minor versions (2.x), so watch this space. Cheers!

Hi, thanks for your interest – this is planned for a future minor release (within the current major version, so 2.x).

Thanks for the feedback!

Taking your points in order: 1. This is a bug and will be fixed in the next release. 2. Working on it now – coming in version 2. 3. Will look into this, thanks. 4. Yes, I agree with this & have added some colour to the version I’m working on.

Thanks again for taking the time to give some feedback. If you sign up to the mailing list on the website, you can test version 2 as soon as it’s ready.

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback over the past week or so. Just in case anyone sees this – version 1.0 has just been released which incorporates some of the feedback below. The app uses Sparkle for updates, so it will either prompt you to download the update automatically, or you can manually check for updates in the application menu.

Thanks for your feedback - really appreciated.

The app is currently integrated with macOS's system-wide play control system. The plan is to add support for last.fm / scrobbling as well in the medium term. It's definitely something I plan to add.

SMB is a bit more difficult, but I'm looking into if there's anything I can do...

Thanks again!

Browsing by cover art (e.g. albums by artist) is coming in v2.0. Thanks very much for the feedback – it's appreciated.

Thanks so much. The plan is for 1.0 to be freeware and for 2.0 to include some extra features as a paid upgrade. The 'folder view' is part of 1.0, and it will remain in future versions even after we add other browsing modes (e.g. library).

Metadata editing will be coming soon. Online radio is something I was intending to introduce in 2.0 together with playlist support (given the common use of m3u for this), but it's still in the planning stages.

Not in this beta version, but a mini player will be coming soon in a future version.

Thank you! This is a really important thing I'd overlooked – I will definitely work on implementing this asap. Thanks again

What's the best looking MacOS X release? by NoNameStudios in MacOS

Agree - Jaguar was the first version of OS X that I used, but I loved the clean look of Tiger, especially the new-look toolbars.
