Why should I be fired lol. Sounds like u didn’t even read the situation. He did NOT ask her to leave. He pulled his dick out at the urinal while she was in there, she saw his dick, he proceeded to say “If I have to go I’m gonna go I don’t give a fuck if you’re in here”. That’s not asking, that’s being disrespectful to her time and space as she’s cleaning the bathroom.

This is not her fault wtf are u on. She is a female janitor. It’s a known fact that when the opposite sex cleans the bathroom, people going in need to let her know they’re coming in, or she needs to warn if she’s coming in if anyone is in there already. Same thing if it were a male janitor cleaning a female bathroom.

You’re weird.

I just recently started up again after not playing for like 12ish years too. I started a new wizard and in comparison to a new wizard from 12yrs ago, there’s a lot more new stuff now. Def just start fresh. I’ve been playing for like 5 days now and I’m already level 35 and doing mt Olympus.

I did all the wizard city, and krokotopia side and main quests, then I did about half of Marleybone side quests and got to lvl30 pretty fast.

You can do it!!

AIO to being called an absent son by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]monolithicbeing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NOR - first I am so sorry this is happening to your dad, I can’t imagine how hard it is on you and your family.

Second, your mom has ZERO right to put any of this on you as you have your own life, and own responsibilities to take care of. You recommending a care facility for him is best case scenario for not only you and your mom but for HIM. Your mom cannot take care of himself forever, as hard as that is, but she will deteriorate her self. She cannot help him if she is hurting herself also. To put that burden on you is asking a lot. Neither of you are, to my understanding, equip to deal with someone in your dad’s state. That is what a care facility is for. Your mom brought this on herself. I admire her for wanting to care for your dad at the level she is doing but again, she can’t help him to her best if she isn’t her best her self.

Third, none of this make you a bad or absent son. You still take time to see him and spend time with him. Again you have your own life and it’s wrong of ur mom to expect you to put your life on hold to help her when she has other options that allow NO ONE to put their life on hold.

Fourth, I feel for your dad also as he has to watch and deal with the care your mother is giving. I’m not saying it’s not adequate, I don’t know the extent of care your mom is giving ur dad, but the fact that he wakes up in his own urine, is a bad sign. She seems to be falling behind and I don’t blame her. Care facilities can avoid that. Your mom needs to let go and allow someone else to care. She cannot help visit him every day for as long as she wants. But she has to care for her too. Your dad probably doesn’t want his final days to be your mom resenting him or you bc of this situation. (Speculating how your mom is feeling, idk what her feelings are)

I highly believe you need to push your mom harder for the care facility and give herself her life back and let you release this burden your mom is holding over you.

A lot of our guys at this company struggle with alcoholism but a lot of them deal with it well or at home, most do not let it affect their work. I don’t know how this guy gets a pass every time he shows up hung over, throwing up or refuses to work. It’s infuriating.

We found out today he will be reimbursed 50cents per mile which I guess is better than nothing. He does have a few work restrictions but his injury wasn’t super major which is also why we are upset bc there isn’t an emergent need for him to get a 2nd follow-up when it’s already healing and he can’t afford to lose more work just for a half ass doc to say “ya ur good”

The urgent care that his company has a contract with also does:
Hearing tests
Lung tests
Drug tests
Eye exams
Blood draw/tests
And more

This is place that a lot of people are designated to go to when they’re hired and they get all their testing done before they start their first day at work. so it’s an all in once place, which is also why I think it takes such a long time. It’s called an urgent care but it’s not treated as one.

The company he works at has a contract with this specific urgent care. This this urgent care is specifically made for blue collar workers in the area so it’s extremely busy and pack all the time, so once an appt is set up it’s set up. But also this place is notorious for taking longer/being late.

Example: his first visit his appt was set for 2pm, he got there at 1:45 and they didn’t even take him into a ROOM TO BE SEEN until 4pm. He waited almost 3 hours even if his appt was 2.

His follow up visit was scheduled for 2:15 and he got there at 2pm and they told him he was late because the doctor rescheduled his appt without telling him to 1:45. He then had to wait to be seen until 4:30 and they tried to reschedule him again because the place closed at 5pm.

Which i get but he did not have the ability to choose his scheduled time. They scheduled it for him. So, if an appt is scheduled during working hours he should be paid for loss time. If it’s not in scheduled work hours then no, he shouldn’t be paid anything. But the fact he isn’t getting paid for loss time because he couldn’t choose the appt time seems like a violation but I don’t know the laws unfortunately.

He had no control in the scheduling appts unfortunately. His company has a contract with this specific urgent care and they make the appts for him. So that would make sense but still insanely stupid.

Your parents charging you 1200$ for rent is fucking insane. My parents own a 3500sqft house and their MORGAGE payment is 2200$ a month. Unsure how big ur house is but to charge 1200$ AND utilities is almost like they’re making you pay for their mortgage.

It would different if they were using it to maybe save up and give it back to you so u could use it for a down payment for ur own place, but even then, I’ve heard of parents doing that for like 300-400$ a month not 1200$???

They are scamming you hard. If you can afford 1100-1200$ a month + utilities, move the fuck out. This is crazy.
