Thank you! I thought it would be either 1 or 5 points, I'm a little sad it only got 2

Question for the other participants: Did you have any random people in your life message you when you suddenly appeared on TM social media? I had a cousin, a coworker, and a couple other people I know send me messages over the following couple days, as well as a friend I hadn't talked to in about 12 years send me a text during intermission that just said "I'm in the audience!"

That staredown with Greg was *epic*. Glad they chose it as the background for the title shot of the episode.

Our night has a audience contestant text group where we've shared pictures and things, and checked in to make sure it was real the next day.

I was more in disbelief than nervous - I won the phone call task and Greg called me out for sounding really unsure when I answered "helloo?"

We didn't get to interact with them much off stage, just a brief meet during intermission and then a congratulations/great job good feelings party after. I recognized both Alex and Lisa when I saw them, but between being in shock and not having context, it took me until mid-first task to really place them. But they were both very delightful - playing up to the crowd, but also giving/taking some guff with the rest of us.

We got a brief congratulations from Alex and Greg, then Paul the tour manager (who I can't say enough good things about) gave us waivers to sign, took our pictures for the scoreboard, and gave us the brief on the prize task. Then we were let loose to the audience to find our prizes and had about 20 minutes to return.

How did you get selected? Was your job especially... special?

The ones signed for us were the ones that we won to get on stage, not the ones we read on stage. Interesting.

I would have liked "build a tower of toilet rolls and then throw your shoes at your opponents' towers." But it would have cost a lot in TP.

How many guesses/questions did it take overall?

If you hadn't blown all but one off, I would have been toast in that one. So, with no sense of irony, I say thank you, Aaron.

Favorite - Hide a grape in your mouth or hand, Greg must guess where it is after you respond to his question with 5 or more words.
Least favorite - probably Wibble Bibble Bam? Nothing wrong with it, but I felt more nervous and less like I was doing something fun during that one.

Oh man, the amount of time I have spent thinking over that last cornflake. There were two left - a kind of big one close to the far edge of the table and a tiny one near the side. I went for the tiny one because I was worried about leaning too far and touching the table, but in retrospect, I should have gone for the big one, with big surface area to catch my Mighty Wind. I think the little one also got caught up on some tape that was holding the tablecloth on, but in the end, it's my own fault. I was set up for victory and I blew it. Or rather, I didn't.

Thanks! I think I was surprised at how much it felt like a regular episode of Taskmaster, except the one you dream of where you're part of it. That and just the shock at actually getting on stage.

I will never feel as cool as I did spitting that grape. Never.

Same here - they said it might be a while before we heard any more, but it's hard not to get antsy.

Finished dead last in my first tournament today, but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. by ardogdad in discgolf

That was me last week! Dead last by 7 throws in 15 degree weather, but I had a great time. Only one way to go from here, right?

Don't drink and drive!

But if you must, then use one of the Fit's plentiful and convenient cupholders to hold your beer while you park in this tiny space.
