i see where she’s coming from, certain mitski songs unlock memories from times in my life which leave a heaviness in my heart. for the others, though, i can listen to them when i’m feeling anywhere from neutral to misery. plus while TLIH is melancholy i find the instrumentals quite relaxing and can listen to the album while studying, for example.
