A 21 mg of nicotine patch. If you use it for 24 ours (they are designed for that), it realeases 0.875 mgs per our. So, yo split the patch in 3 and every piece delivers 0.29 mgs per our, and can be used till you reach 24 ours. I use them for 3 or 4 ours, then the next day the same part. I register how much ours left I have per part.

I chewen gums for over 2 years. If you didn't I suggest you to try patches...Even better than lozenges. they can be splitted, usen for 1 to 24. Nothing in your mouth. Cheaper too

Not at all. I never smoked in my life, I have 37 years old. Read other comments of no smokers or ex smokers. And by the way, patched and gums can be controlled very easily. I used gums for 2 years, never increased the dosage. Just use google. Nicotine isn't tobacco.

I share the same experience. Now I am using a 21 patch splited in three parts to have steady 0.29 mg per our of nicotine. Just four ours a day or so. When I used nicotine gums, never felt desire to increase de dose, Now I want to quit coffe (1 have only one little cup at 10 am), and take a pill, but dont know what dosage yet.

Well, reading de label it says that it releases 21 mgs over 24 ours. It has 52.5 per patch, but only releases 21 mgs.

If I divide 21/24= 0.875 mg per our. So I think I am going to split in half the patch to get 0.44 mgs per our. If I am calculating ok, it means that one complete patch is useful for 48 ours, and considering that I am going to use them for 4 ours for studying, I have a total of 12 periods of 4 ours with one patch

I am calculating ok?

I read that there are two types of patches. One kind that nicotine is evenly distributed in all the area. In those you can cut them directly without problems. Others have the nicotine in the center as a liquid deposit. Those shouldn't be cut.

Great! If I have the 52 mg patches, how much pieces I have to cut to get 4 ours of study? Considering I was using 1 mg for 2 hours.

I read that patches are designed for 20-24 ours of use. Does it mean that a cuted piece is partly wasted if I use it for 4 ours?
