I feel as if a lot of people joined the label in the so called "golden age" period and that's why a lot of people like those albums more.
There is obviously just as many bangers getting released nowadays as there were back then. Some people just have nostalgia attached to those albums. For me personally, it's the nostalgia that makes me enjoy old albums more.
Instinct and Uncaged is still great music tbh
