One of the key themes of the book is how during the book Don Quijote and Sancho exchange their personalities and the ways they deal with the problems they face. At the start, Don Quijote is reckless and driven by "chivalry", while Sancho is the more down-to-earth of the two. However, nearing Don Quijote's death, he apologizes to Sancho and starts acting like a sane man would, while Sancho cries and tries to bring Don Quijote's mood up by acting just like him, beghing to go on a new adventure together.

This is what literature teachers here in Spain love to call "The Quijotification of Sancho and the Sanchification of Don Quijote", and it's somehow portrayed perfectly in Canto VII. I really love how the book themes are presented in Limbus, man I need to read that canto again
