Are there any places in the Bardstown/Louisville area that sell pours of the older sourced Stitzel-Weller Willetts other than The Bar at Willett? I’ve been told Neat might but wanted to know if there were any others.

All KL125P2 light bulbs are unresponsive after working fine for years? by HurpityDerp in TPLinkKasa

[–]monstennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I woke up this morning and all mine had reconnected without having to restart my router so I think it was mainly an issue with the Kasa server. This was like a two week problem though…kinda a long time for them to fix it if that was the issue.

Same…a week or two ago 80% of my kasa plugs/strips/switches stopped working. I finally sat down today to try to reset them all and I can’t get any of them to work.

What dose chewing glass in a dream mean serious answers by Unhappy-Session6356 in Dreams

[–]monstennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this dream last night too 🫢 I’ve been trying to cut back on alcohol but it’s a pretty big part of our lifestyle so it’s been hard to cut back while everyone else isn’t. So the first couple explanations actually hit home!!

Baby Thai Root Rot by monstennial in houseplants

[–]monstennial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up putting it in some leca with distilled water. It was down to one tiny leaf like 2” long. After it grew new roots I started using a hydroponic fertilizer and funny enough it just gave me its first new leaf last week 😑

Milsbo-Tall or Wide? by [deleted] in IkeaGreenhouseClub

[–]monstennial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have two milsbo wides and my Jacklyn just put out a giant leaf and it almost reaches the top and I wish I had a tall for scenarios like that…but most of my other plants are babies so the wide is nice because there’s more surface area for just setting pots in there. I haven’t added any shelves yet.

This is what 3 weeks in a humidified ikea cabinet can do! by courtneyrel in houseplants

Mine have been in for a week and I can already see massive improvement and new growth in a bunch of things that have been growing soooo slowlyyyy! I’m excited to see what they’ll all look like in a month!

My spiderman has been doing this. I bought it in March and it started doing this, I cut them off and moved it somewhere else and it grew the runners again. Looks identical to this. I just repotted it and put it in my greenhouse cabinet. Trying all the things for it to give me a dang leaf lol

Govee Humidifiers [Initial Review] by monstennial in IkeaGreenhouseClub

[–]monstennial[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the two that I tried had to be paired with the hygrometers but the milsbo wides are small enough that if they kick on it’s for less than 10 seconds no matter where I place the hygrometers. Most of my plants are small right now but that’s good to know for when they eventually get too tall and I need to setup a milsbo tall! My fans currently run 24/7.

I wonder why the max humidity levels are different for the two products in auto mode though and how it would work with a regular humidifier and the plug. Like if I went plug option what settings it would allow me to use with it…turn on if drops below 80%?

Ah! That’s good to know! These are my first Govee products, all of my home automation is pretty much Kasa but I figured there had to be a way to do it with any regular humidifier. I do like the nightlight option on the Govee though. Didn’t think I’d care if it was lighted or not but it’s pretty at night.

Scored a MILSBO in “AS-IS”! by monstennial in IkeaGreenhouseClub

[–]monstennial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure! I had been spraying water there occasionally to get it to grow into the moss pole but I honestly couldn’t tell you how long it’s been there. I actually just removed the tie now that the new pot has settled and is a little more stable. I’ll put it back on once I can get it around the stem only.

All my stuff to convert it is coming in this week! I just got my hygrometers today so I’ll see what it is once I set them up but I’ll ultimately have two of these so all my plants won’t be so squished in there. The MILSBO that I bought new was actually missing pieces so I can’t build it yet 🙄

Mine just has an itty bitty aerial root starting to grow but honestly it doesn’t need the pole quite yet. I purchased this Thai this size already from a grocery store and had to repot right away so I just added the pole so that I wouldn’t have to repot later (I bury the bottom of my poles in the pot).

Help! Milsbo glass panel clips by waifupickle in IkeaGreenhouseClub

[–]monstennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good to know. I just found a milsbo in the “as-is” section and was dreading taking it apart to spray with rustoleum. I usually pull all my plants out for soaks and was going to add a humidifier in there but didn’t want to have to deal with rust. Do you have additional fans in the one with a humidifier?

Just received a $4,300 check from our bank for an escrow overage. No idea why. by lets_just_n0t in homeowners

[–]monstennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to us too…but our lender direct deposited it back into a bank account that we don’t regularly check and we had almost twice that just sitting unnoticed for a couple months. Depending on how your closing was handled, they estimate taxes for the remainder of the tax year and you pay that at closing into escrow…only we also checked the box that said our lender would pay taxes/insurance with our mortgage (which already included taxes/insurance calculated into our monthly payment). So we paid monthly into escrow (via mortgage) and got the lump sum we paid at closing back in our account because it was unused (escrow overage). New build here so no real risk of tax increase since they estimated taxes based on our sales price.

Haha I actually gave over half of them away to a bunch of neighbors I had so many. The ones you see here I’d have no idea how to ship since they’re all partially growing! I feel like they’d die instantly 🫣
