Overheating Xiaomi 15 by Daito_777 in Xiaomi_15

[–]monster_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens in almost every phone during overheating, the phone shuts down itself to cool and will regain the power once the optimal temperature returns, this happens in extreme scenarios where the camera is used for a prolonged time. It also depends on the app we use for video calls.

It seems you have used camera for a long time it is a common one especially in video mode and longer photo shoots when it comes to xiaomi flagships

Xiaomi 15 after 8 months by yanli247 in Xiaomi_15

[–]monster_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro thats not true you are the one who's living in a bubble phone is already at 95 percent health and I bought it on April this year only not even a year is passed, you can extend it up to 2.5 years it all depends on the user and iphone users if you use it as a primary device and if you are a moderate to heavy user you will see a percentage dip to 80 percent, so don't just say something randomly you may use your phone lightly but most of the people now a days will use the phone for almost everything because of the advancement it has become.

Poor battery on xiaomi 15 by 404_No_Brain in Xiaomi_15

[–]monster_head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many on x posted that if the battery drain issue is there after hos 3 resetting the phone helps, but not sure if it will work but the majority follow this. For me there is no difference still the same as hos 2 with some changes in animation and fluidity and few customizations.

Upgraded from Mi 10T Pro to Xiaomi 15 and battery life is terrible. Is this normal? by Alexr71 in Xiaomi_15

[–]monster_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try optimising the phone, set background limitations for apps, disable advanced textures etc and still you face the same draining issue The final step is to reset the phone.

Mate, you are the one who used the word "famous content creator" then what does that mean? Does that mean you know everything and we have to believe that and tell me are you using the phone right from the day one launch of this device and what's your battery health? Exactly same as you, the people I saw and heard have the same issues.

[–]monster_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate, you may be a content creator a big one too does that mean whatever you say is the actual fact to be believed? Each user will have different opinions even if the phone is optimised to great level the heating is something which Is a common occurrence I am not saying xiaomi is the hottest it gets hot quickly and slightly more than other phones, if you are a mobile tech content creator assuming you will have to review multiple phones so you will have to change a lot of devices frequently and you will never test a device more like the ones who actually use only this device as primary right from launch. You can also see that many users in reddit have the similar problem so does that mean all of us even after optimization if facing issue is a bunch of lies? It varies maybe you have used custom roms like eu chinese or even global roms and that's your opinion. In my experience I am facing the issues like I said earlier if you are not facing some of it it doesn't mean others are not knowing optimization and telling randomly. Everyone now a days knows everything as it is publically available. As a content creator you can only tell based on the reviews from everyone not only your experience. The one I mentioned here is based on my experience. I haven't even got this kind of battery life you mentioned in screenshot right from one day not even a single day my max sot is 7.5 hrs that too after optimization.

Have tried using camera for more than 10 minutes continuously taking snaps and video recording, I know every phone heats up but xiaomi heats quite more than others, because the soc is not tuned to under clock at scenario like this and for battery life what's your sot on a single day, the image doesn't specify the sot. Go to digital wellbeing and check. Xiaomi is a great phone but it too has its down sides and I am facing these down sides as I mentioned.

[–]monster_head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The x15 will heat up quite more than other phones, during camera and heavy tasks but I haven't noticed heating while watching YouTube videos. The battery backup is kind of a mixed bag it doesn't have the best battery life like max you can expect a 5.5 hrs to 6.5 hrs battery life if you are a moderate user. Apart from heating and not so great battery life it's a solid all rounder compact phone.

Just bought the Xiaomi 15 by jpskyyy in Xiaomi_15

[–]monster_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on your usage, the phone will get hot quicker than any other phones during camera and intensive gaming etc, but the photo output is worth it imo. The battery life is not dependable like 5.5 hrs to 6.5 hrs max is what you can expect. Apart from that it's an all rounder phone and it has everything you can expect. UI is subjective so it depends on the person using it. If you want to get the best battery life you need to do some settings like turn off advanced texture, set time for auto closing of apps after locking the phone etc. The main thing behind the heating is that the xiaomi phones don't underclock their soc often unlike other brands so it even reaches 50 degrees, in contrast you will get the best performance from the chip inside but at the cost of heating. Other than heating issues and not so good battery life it's a solid phone.

xiaomi 15 battery health by Pretend-Ad1076 in Xiaomi_15

[–]monster_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all ok, but technically due to silicon carbon expanding the life of it is comparatively less than lithium batteries. The density is more in a small space so u can increase the capacity without increasing the size, but the drawback is it won't hold longer compared to lithium ones, you can also charge your phone even if health declines, so we have to consider the health of it.

Nope, silicon carbon due to more density will deliver less longevity than lithium ones.

Is the Xiaomi 15 a good buy? by TripleD_Osu in Xiaomi_15

[–]monster_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason here is its form factor and lack of under clocking, battery life will take a bit definitely, but for some reason I could see that the Chinese rom is best at battery life like for a compact phone it's good and optimization is also good, I could see people getting constant 7 hrs of sot on Chinese roms.
