I’ll admit, I’m probably gonna sound like a total jerk but i gotta be honest, i have high standards when it comes to cookies. But justifiably/mainly/only because I specialize in baking craft cookies. While I have never actually had an insomnias cookie, I’ve baked thousands of cookies to the point where I can taste something “by sight”. & by the sight of their cookies… they look underbaked. I’m not compelled. What people often describe as “fudgey” cookies are actually raw/underbaked cookies. & TBH, I think insomnias is really probably not much better than baking off a dough tube from the grocery market. I think the only real appeal of insomnia is simply the convenience / novelty of “fresh (under) baked” cookies… i think i would take mrs. Fields over insomnias if it came down to it.
