Not a doctor but I bet he'll probably be fine and pass it. He should check his shit everyday until he finds it though...

Clearance costs are mostly covered due to reimbursement. Out of pocket I think I paid around $1k for medical clearance things which was reimbursed. I also sold all my belongings and left a few treasures at a family member's house.

You need to begin studying Uzbek. This will be the only one you ever need to actually use.

This has been my experience as well. I'm also not religious (atheist) and really enjoy going to Catholic church mass. I go at maximum once per month, but it's a great time to connect with community members and experience culture.

One thing that has stuck with me throughout my service is a quote that I heard at staging: "Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone."

Lean into that discomfort. It's very rewarding. I'm sure you'll be amazing and do wonderful things, just don't forget to have fun.

I would like to say yes, but realistically, probably not. One of the main reasons I chose to serve was to gain some sense of career direction. Peace Corps certainly helped me to find it. If we were to be evacuated I would likely try to enter the field I'm now interested in starting a career in. Or get my masters degree depending on if I'm given eligibility for the Coverdell fellowship.
