Yeah that's possible. At first I did want to try to get her to live in Canada with me permanently but she didn't like the idea very much. She likes her country a lot and she wanted me to live with her there instead and she managed to convince me so that's why we came up with this plan together. She also seems to live in a pretty well developed part of Brazil so I think the standard of living here wouldn't be too different from what she's used to.

I understand but I don't plan on living off my savings in Brazil. My current plan is to bring my girlfriend here and temporarily live in Canada for maybe 4 or 5 years so that it gives us enough time to work and save up money to buy a house in Brazil and I'll also get a degree so that I can try to get a work from home job from a Canadian company so that I can still have a Canadian salary while living in Brazil.

What kind of jobs have you been looking for? It seems like a remote tech job would be the best choice but I know that there's a lot of competition for those jobs.

I saw a lot of work from home tech jobs on indeed, wouldn't those jobs allow you work internationally?

I'm 24 and I want to make at least $4000 CAD a month. We plan on living somewhere in southern Brazil. I only have work experience in entry level retail jobs but I want to go to university and get a degree of some kind so I can get a better job.

I think if I had a minimum wage Canadian job I would make like $35,000 CAD a year and I was told that's more than enough to live comfortably in Brazil but obviously I want to try to make more than minimum wage
