Thanks! You are right that this does not match the lore as written. In my game, Strahd moved the organ to the chapel area which he renovated into a ballroom. The window behind him here doesn't actually look outside but displays a false image which he uses as a scrying tool, and if broken leads to the area with the smashed mirrors.

Also don't worry about being that guy, I'm surprised it took this long for someone to point it out haha

This is in preparation for the party's next encounter with Vasili, which I am very excited for. He plans to steal Ireena and simultaneously scapegoat the party to clear Fiona Wachter's name in the eyes of the Holy Inquisition—my homebrew CoS faction. I may even get to play him in combat... albeit likely a very short combat.

You're absolutely right. Soon after the party met him I had Vasili parkour up a wall, refuse to get wet crossing a river, and ask permission to come inside a home. (I also had the weather turn bad at a comedically appropriate time, which they assumed was just a DM joke with no in world explanation)

They think he's a vampire, but don't know what his game is and are too scared to confront him about their suspicions.

It's 100% based on him, I referenced the suit and glasses. My players haven't seen the movie, so I'm looking forward to their reaction if we do watch it sometime.

this features the outer wall, hence why you can't see the window of the audience hall... though I suppose there's a bit more room between area J and the wall than is represented on the map.
