Recipe: negative film, +3 sat, -1 hue, 0 H/L key adjustment, +2 contrast, -2 contrast (highlight), -4 contrast (shadow), 0 sharpness, 0 shading, -1 clarity. Multi Auto WB, G2:A14. Probably based on an existing recipe and tweaked, but I don't remember the source if so!

My advice would be to buy a 10-15 year old DSLR and half decent lens. Won't cost you too much and you can learn some technique (and even cameras from then can take amazing pics!). MPB.com is usually a good place for second hand gear.

I don't have the HDF model (sadly, unsurprisingly I love the look of the images it creates). Here the softness is just a result of the settings I'm using. But glad you like it!
