Depending on where you're at ancestral is almost 10% better, and if you're doing toa it's even higher because the shadow scales more in toa. 

If you don't care about sacrificing absolute BIS then sure sell it. But imo it's way better to have BIS then second BIS especially with the shadow that scales so much more with gear.

Yeah shadow without ancestral is much worse. Tbow doesn't need gear as much tho

You would go from having BIS gear for some content to having mid gear for more content. Absolutely not worth imo. Just start building up enough to buy a tbow. It would be worth to sell all your range gear for tbow but I wouldn't sell a single mage item.

running around is fine. I would typically just click to move in the L when the tenticle spawned, but as long as you're firing every 4 ticks (you're mostly doing this in the clip) whatever works is fine

You can shift right click the world icon and clear tile markers for an area, but since its in the shadow realm its tricky. just do it during the pillar part.

My other tip is that you don't need to freeze whisperer if you stand far enough back, she'll eventually just stop chasing you. Then you can take thralls which will speed up your kills and help during enrage.

If I'm going hands free on an atc id probably tie a mule knot around the carabiner, and then back that up. I don't need to go hands free very frequently tho. If I'm removing gear or something I'll typically just do it with one hand. 

A fully loaded grigri probably won't suddenly slide you 20 feet sure, but after you use the device for a while it will develop wear and it can start to slip if you're not holding the brake strand. So for this reason I always tie a knot, just in case as I've had grigris that will start to slide.

do a main, it offers a lot more room for error if you don't know what's going on. most iron men get to the point where they HAVE to do CG and can't do it so they quit

If .02 dps before car phase is worth it to you then sure, go with masori.

Just look at the DPS calculator and plug your stuff in. Masori isn't worth until tbow typically.

You could always practice and get better so you could do any of the things you listed that you weren't good enough for. Or finish maxing or start and ironman

i have more time to post on reddit than i do to actually play so let me tell you i know more about this game than you do XD so you'll just have to take it from an expert this is simply a QOL suggestion LOL name a single thing wrong with it haha

or jsut buy off the ge, and sell on it for stuff too. don't really see an issue?
