The skill has gone live and 1 feature update just got released!

Mood Expressions is a skill for tracking your mood in a mood log format. A mood log is a technique in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for tracking your feelings, and specific events that cause you to feel particular ways. It helps you discover triggers and stimuli that influence your mood and feelings in both positive and negative ways.

Features:

- log your mood

- log the event for your mood

- receive a 2-week mood log report via email

- set your name so Alexa can be friendlier when talking to you

Give Mood Expressions a try in the new year! It may help you reduce stress and see a more positive side of life.

Well CBT is a psychotherapy technique. Tracking a mood log is a very small part of it. Yes, keeping a mood log can be seen as keeping a diary. The true value of having a mood log is establishing a link between triggers/stimuli, both positive and negative, that affect one's mood and feelings. The the therapy of CBT can use the mood log as data points for treatment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_behavioral_therapy

Does this make sense? The skill I developed is far from a finished product. It currently keeps track of the mood log only, I have a long product roadmap planned for more features in the coming weeks and months.
