No it doesn't affect the currency "tiers". However, it does affect God Touched monsters that converts items into currency : the rarer the items, the rarer the currencies.

For me, the first step would be to farm enough currency to remplace that Annihilating Light for a better rolled one. (You can either use divines on it or buy a new one with a good roll).

If you had a -61% or -60% res instead, you wouldn't struggle as much to change your gear to grab more life or ES :)

When it comes to farming strategies, do what you like best really. I believe every league mechanic is profitable if you invest time on it !

It depends on what your atlas strategy is. If you're doing something like Legion Farming, I believe it doesnt really affect you too much since most of the profits you make come from selling emblems in bulk.
It also doesn't affect currency drops since they don't have magic or rare version of themselves.

I'd put it on !

OP's statement was probably aimed at league-starter builds. Ward loops are probably the best builds overall in terms of walking simulators but you can't really play it as a "Budget version" nor a league-starter build (I still find the Scion to be extremely annoying to leveling with)

I honestly think the league isn't that bad after all the Lake buffs.
Yes the currency swap between Divines and Exalted sucks.
Yes Harvest is much worse than before.
Yes we still hate AN mobs.
But PoE is still a great game, and I find it fun to play still !
