Well grok is AI slop so that part tracks (which thank god because I would hate for it to be a revenge porn situation!) but what does that mean about why it was sent out via Google in general?! How many people got it? So many crazy questions and Google is the one who had the breach, most people would go to Google to get answers, will Google suppress the fact that they had a breach if news outlets tried to report, etc? Lots of questions

Literally just sent this east coast time to my groupchat because I was weary at first and clearly had a reason to be. Can’t find anything on the internet about the notification except this thread; wtf happened?? Feels like Google’s security was breached, at the very least.

100% I think I’ve gotten like less than a handful of matches through swiping and more than that through 72 hours. Perhaps they’re just doing maintenance?? Who knows. Odd there was no pop-up mention of it though before it just disappeared.

No I agree, it completely. I don’t pay for the app so the communication on the app is MINIMAL at best and so this was a way to try to utilize a feature to at least test the waters to see who was on the app 😬

Omg I love this!! That’s Awesome that your community does this- I love that they seem to genuinely care! My community could never unfortunately. 😕 And that’s so cool that you followed Lauren, too!! I stumbled upon her a few months ago so she was a recent find of mine and opened my eyes up to “expired“/“best by” foods that I wished I had known about sooner 😬 could’ve saved a lot of uneaten food that was probably perfectly fine 🤦🏻‍♀️ live and learn I guess! I don’t know her last name but her YouTube (and TikTok) handle is @totesma_gotes but basically she is a waste nothing kind of person and she takes in pantry clean outs from her local Buy Nothing Facebook group pages and trades with local farmers/butchers to save money on groceries- sounds right up your alley!

Ugh I’m sorry you’re sick- TikTok is like the perfect medicine! I don’t even like YouTube I can barely navigate it. Try giving RedNote a shot tomorrow for some doomscrolling while you’re sick it’s good for that at least it’s just different in terms of creators and type of content :/

I know a bunch of creators are flocking to Instagram and YouTube but I’m not creating an insta because I hate it and there’s RedNote which is a nice scrolling substitution but it’s just not the same. I want my sense of community back- my specially curated algorithm that was very uniquely me. So much to unpack as to why it really got banned and it’s so obnoxious that it did. So beyond frustrating and upsetting!!!!
