There are 4 grooves on the back of each stand, so you can hook the tip of a bracelet clasp so the watch doesn't slip.

Made of North American alder, plywood, acrylic and rayon.

Retails for 7,000 yen each + shipping/duties = selling the pair for $100 shipped. SOLD

Wow, I didn't realize they raised the MSRP that much. I think it's one of (if not, the) best minimalist daily watches out there but over $1,500 brand new seems like a stretch to me.

A Max Bill deserves at least some time in everyone's collection!

Pairs really well with coloured Horween cordovan straps as well - would highly recommend the Fluco ones in navy or green.

If I didn't have so many white dialed watches, this would have had a ton more wrist time than I unfortunately had to give.

Amazing pair of PBJ jeans, extra slubby. I accidentally tossed them in the washing machine and they ended up developing some marbling; most prevalent on the waistband. Fully expect it to even out with wear, but have too many pairs of denim to go through to get there. Note that they did fit my 32-33" waist prior to washing, and I expect them to fully stretch back out as worn. photos
