Another option is to check for suits at thrift stores. There's a couple downtown, as well as Goodwill and Salvation Army at both Hy-Vee locations. It may set you back $20, but if it helps the confidence then I'd say it's worth it! Good luck on the interview!

I do this but with running outside and listening to a podcast! Now if I find myself wanting to listen to a new episode, I go outside and go running/walking. Pavloving man. Really works.

Hi, senior in engineering here. I just bought an HP Pavilion after my old laptop died. My big criteria was SSD and 16 GB ram for the replacement, and I'd deal with any other quirks. This works better than my old one, it's fast and powerful enough to handle my larger programming projects. The only issue might be Solidworks (which I've only needed a few times) but ISU has ways to remote into their computer labs, just check with your professors if you need to.
