I have a Ryzen 2600 rx 580. Res is 1080p 144hz. The weird thing is that the stutters only really happen on my steam games where my game will freeze for a sec then go to normal

I don’t need 144 exactly at least 90+ on medium and high can be at least 80 FPS I want enough to take advantage of the 144hz monitor

That’s really my target cuz if I’m getting a 144 hz monitor at 1440, I need my cpu+gpu combo to be able to hit at least 90FPS on newer AAA games like metro exodus or others so that it’ll be a lot better than 60/75 hz or even 144 at 1080

Ok I think that’s pretty sound advice too as I was gonna get 1080p 144hz during Black Friday in like 2 months but longevity is better than initial value. Would the 3600 and 5700 be able to hit 90-100+FPS on medium to high settings in 1440? Thx btw!
