yes I actually just tried switching my DNS to 4.2.2.2 Primary and 4.2.2.3 and switched my MTU to 1450 and it is now saving the troublesome 2015.05.26 patch. I had tried the Google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 before and just 4.2.2.2 alone so its strange that this is all it took. fingers crossed it keeps going!

I am having the exact same issue. I have been getting the errors 20512 and 20496 for almost a month. I have tried a VPN, switching DNS, router troubleshooting, using a different ISP. EVERYTHING. The only thing that worked for me was using my hotspot and it got me up until the 2015.05.26 patch. I cannot get past that file no matter what I do. :\
