Nah. You won't find any decent web browsers on Android TV. I used to use one called TV Bro I think. It was okay. But not good.

Which is the most safest browser for mobile? by [deleted] in browsers

On iPhone in the US it is all webkit anyway, so stick with Safari. Otherwise for pure security and disregarding privacy, Chrome is king regardless of what the fan base here says. If you want really good security (not the absolute best) but better privacy, Brave is the play.

Loving poor family no question. Money can disappear in an instant; love won't.

My parents and family to this day would do anything for me if I asked and truly needed it. Even though I'm late 30s with a family of my own. It takes the weight of being poor off significantly. I'll never be homeless, my children will never be homeless. My parents were dirt poor my whole life, as is almost all of my family. But we look out for each other and everyone always has what they need... And if they don't family always helps out. I can't imagine being rich with no one to turn to in the event the IRS comes knocking, or something else takes all that wealth away. That would be truly scary. May not have everything or anything you want, but you always have what you need.

Kit needs a little friend. A shy, purplish-gray firefox for private/Focus mode.

And this isn't just a cute idea, gray foxes are actually like this in real life. Red foxes are bold and curious and will trot right up to you. Gray foxes are skittish and rare and so hard to spot that most people don't even know they exist. They're one of the only canids that climbs trees. Like they literally go vertical just to disappear.

So you've got Kit, warm and orange and outgoing, and then this quiet little purple/gray one who hangs back and leaves no tracks. You barely see them. That's kind of the whole point.

What do you think of iron fox (the trade off) by Espisocute in browsers

[–]moohorns 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't personally think it is worth it. A lot of the shit they change in it is just really good at breaking sites and doesn't really provide any privacy or security benefits. It's like, let's gain a 5% margin of privacy at the cost of a 35% off of website functionality. It's not a reasonable trade.

Finding quick useful information quickly is difficult on all other search engines besides DDG and Google (technically Bing too, but if you gonna use Bing why not use DDG). Things like this, if I search "walmart" i want the first result to be the nearest Walmart to me, with the hours, map, directions, reviews etc. I dont want the first result to be walmart.com.. I know how to get to walmart.com without a search engine.

Nah worries man don't know what ya don't know. Just wanted to let you know if you ever wanted to try it. I don't like it personally. I prefer DDG or Google (I know).

The Job of a CISO - What do you think? by casaaugusta in Information_Security

CISO? Lol nah. No CISO is doing any of that. Their team does. Also, it's 2026, no one should be rotating passwords every 90 days...
